Consumer Sales Leadership Development Program

The Program
The Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP) is a two-year program designed to cultivate strong skills in the fundamentals of selling, promote an understanding of the retail environment, develop proficiency in business analytics and foster leadership capabilities.

As an integral member of our sales organization, you'll contribute to business results with work that supports:

  • Delivering against forecasts
  • Executing annual strategic business plans
  • Launching new and innovative products to our retail partners

The Opportunity
The SLDP provides critical on-the-job experience and cross-business assignments, all while offering strong training and development sessions to help hone your skills.

  • Collaborating on strategic business-building opportunities
  • Executing retail and customer initiatives
  • Managing promotional display programs
  • Providing data analysis to uncover business drivers and trends

Who We're Looking For

Participants engage in a variety of classroom and on-the-job learning activities. The curriculum focuses on personal and professional development, including core leadership and business competencies, product knowledge, selling skills development and technical skills development. Participants receive coaching from mentors, program leaders and program champions from their business units. Immediate supervisors also provide on-the-job coaching and performance feedback.

  • Recent graduates with bachelor’s degrees (preferably with a marketing or business focus) and a graduation date within six months of the program start date
  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Motivated and willing to learn
  • Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Skilled at working collaboratively, developing creative solutions and accomplishing team goals
  • Willing to relocate geographically within the U.S.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
