In this role, you will focus on supporting the strategic objectives of Global Transportation organization as a key member of the Transportation Business process and Technology team. You will manage functional process and configuration within our transportation planning and master data systems, using this knowledge to identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and leverage system capabilities for cost and service enhancements across segments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with operational business partners, you will manage the configuration, master data, and operational function of our transportation technology to enable operational execution of freight movements for North America. This includes ticket management, leading issue resolution with business partners, managing weather events, changing of carriers, adding shipping points, etc.
  • Acting as process and system expert in our transportation technology, you will support evaluation of key business challenges and propose solutions that maximize operational effectiveness and minimize transactional defects by delivering break-fixes and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Working with our carriers, you will ensure EDI quality expectations are met to enable complete data availability for metrics and analytics.
  • Support transportation technology projects by helping to define user requirements, lead process mapping exercises, execute change management activities and support testing cycles as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; focused degree preferred in Supply Chain, Technology, Engineering, Business or Data Science

Experience & Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically Excel & Powerpoint
  • Experience in any combination of the following functions: transportation, supply chain management, analytics, technology, planning, logistics and/or customer service
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
  • Strong problem solving, communication and influencing skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment across different cultures and time zones
  • Attention to detail and a drive for ensuring data accuracy and integrity

Preferred:

  • Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI
  • Understanding or experience of Flawless Project Execution (FPX), Process Excellence (Lean / Six Sigma), and/or Agile methodology
  • Experience and depth of understanding with Transportation Management Systems (e.g., Manugistics, JDA) or other supply chain systems such as ERP’s (e.g., SAP)

Location & Travel Required: New Brunswick, NJ and up to 5% domestic travel

Other:

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $77,000 to $124,200.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
