Summary
Constructs, inspects, calibrates, adjusts, tests, documents and maintains equipment, components, devices and systems. Performs and documents complex technical functions relating to test, quality control, layout fabrication, modification and assembly of mechanical equipment and/or components. Performs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, developmental or test technician duties in such area as manufacturing, maintenance, quality testing, engineering where considerable judgment and initiative are required to solve problems and make recommendations. Constructs, inspects, calibrates, adjusts, tests, documents and maintains equipment, components, devices and systems. Ability to use sophisticated test and measurement equipment associated with specific discipline. Reads and understands technical documentation. Carries out advanced test set up, oversees the coordination activities with inside and outside personnel. Uses knowledge of algebra, trigonometry and software programming to maximize capabilities. Partners with engineers, supervisors, and production personnel to ensure all operational imperatives are met within the areas of safety, quality, production, and new products. Provides work instruction for other lab technicians, assures adequate lab supplies are available, coordinates with outside labs performing testing.

This position is under a Collective Bargaining Agreement in a union environment and the hourly rate is $27.65/hr
Job Summary
As a Facilities Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring continued support for all aspects of the site related to Facilities Electrical needs. Lead the execution of electrical projects and improvements. Support any facilities electrical project needs within the site.
Duties and Responsibilities
Able to make critical decisions under pressure.
Document all equipment service activities and modifications in the Equipment Logbook.
Works towards effectively managing deadlines in completing projects as well as breakdown maintenance activities.
Operates all portable power tools and hand tools to address and repair of equipment.
Use knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics in problem diagnosis and solutions.
High School graduate, G.E.D. or equivalent skills, experience or training is required.
Minimum of two years of technical school, military training or equivalent OJT (on the job training) in an instrument related field is preferred.
Knowledge of instrument related diagrams, tables and specifications, etc. is required.
Self-motivated and capable of taking a lead position in completing duties is required.
