We are searching for the best talent for Project Engineering Manager to be in Grecia, Costa Rica.
Purpose: The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of individual contributors and/or supervisors, ensuring effective performance management and accountability. This role involves coordinating strategies for creating and implementing key performance engineering measures, goals, and customer-required targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of engineers, overseeing workflow, performance, and compliance while ensuring team goals are met within established timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with sites in Juarez to gather insights and manage project-related information.
- Contribute to addressing non-conformance issues in project engineering through corrective action identification and swift resolution.
- Define project engineering estimates, including ongoing design, equipment needs, installation, labor, materials, and related costs.
- Drive initiatives related to project transfers, capacity increments, capital management, efficiency improvements, and automation/validation of equipment.
- Integrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related fields;
- Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 6 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Automotive, logistics and pharma backgrounds are also acceptable.
- Sophisticated proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Experience leading projects from end to end, with the ability to see tasks through to completion.
- Familiarity with processes across different regions, particularly in the medical devices sector.
- Background in project administration and collaboration.
