Today Johnson & Johnson is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Switzerland supplying all the major global markets. The Schaffhausen facility is a strategic launch and growth site for parenteral products, and we have an impressive pipeline of new and innovative products.
We are looking for a Program Manager (m/f/d) within our engineering team to lead the Warehouse consolidation project. This project will enable us to deliver the future portfolio, ensure business continuity and create efficient logistics operations. As Program Manager, you will be driving the case, operating model, design, construction, installation and qualification of the consolidated warehouse and all associated equipment and utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for Engineering project management and project execution to high standards, ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
- Understanding and generation of cases supporting the project funding approval processes, including the economic and technical evaluation of other alternatives
- Management of Engineering Design firms and construction firms and other suppliers/partners for the execution of capital projects
- Responsible and accountable for the safe execution of job activities in compliance with EHS guidelines, environmental, regulatory (cGMP), corporate site and team practices and procedures
- Close collaboration with partners on site (Business Units, QA, EHS&S, sustainability, etc.) as well as with the global organization (Global Engineering & Technology, Engineering & Property Services)

Qualifications - External
Education:
- University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or Chemical field or University degree in business administration, project management or equivalent.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of related business experience and a consistent track record in Project Management in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
- Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal within a matrix organization.
- A sound business acumen and ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Familiarity with project management approaches, engineering processes and design thinking methodology. Certification in FPX and or Lean processes are a plus.
- Decisiveness, structured problem solving and strong analytical skills.
- Dedicated, well-organized and able to set own targets, ability to set priorities under pressure
- Extensive knowledge of cGMP and GxP regulations
- Collaboration with others and work well in project teams
Other:
- Language skills: Fluency (oral and written) in German and English with exceptional communication skills
- This role may require occasionally regional travel, as needed (less than 10%)
