Johnson & Johnson is searching for the best talent for a Sr. Manager, Facilities Management (FM) Risk Quality and Compliance – Americas role. This is a hybrid role available in all cities within United States and Puerto Rico. As the FM Risk Quality and Compliance Sr. Manager, you will be accountable for delivering standardized and consistent FM services within the Americas region while driving deep alignment with J&J Quality functions per segment and per region, EHS&S, Regional Lead, Sub-Regional Leads, and FM partners and suppliers. You will be responsible for supporting compliance throughout the entire facilities portfolio to ensure adherence to applicable policies, procedures, and regulations. This role will also act as a “Global Single Point of Contact” and collaborate with the Global Make Quality organization for a nominated Segment. This individual will also collaborate with outsourced suppliers to complete auditing activities.
A suitable candidate for this role will have demonstrated experience in compliance management in an operational environment along with carrying out strategy within a robust, mission driven, and largely outsourced facilities organization across supply chain and non-supply chain sites.
Key relationships include communication and coordination with FM regional and subregional leads as appropriate, the leadership within the Enterprise Quality function including the Make Quality function and the Supplier Quality function, EHS and Supplier Strategy & Governance to ensure successful implementation and management of the FM program across region while managing nuances of unique sub-regions. This position reports directly to the Sub-Regional Lead role.
You will be responsible for:
- Serve as single point of contact (SPOC) for compliance & risk-related issues in region
- Manage facilities risk and compliance systems, ensuring that all elements are in place to support the J&J worldwide policies and Facility Management Global standards
- Establish lines of engagement with the Regional segment Quality organization, EHS&S, and FM within region and in collaboration with peer Global segment SPOCs manage relationships with regional sector / platforms leads as Risk and Compliance SPOC in region
- Work with sub-regional, micro-regional and site FM roles, external outsourced vendors, SSG, Make Quality organization, and EHS&S to complete risk and quality compliance programs and resolve compliance issues
- Partner with Regional Leads, Sub-Region Leads, and Micro-Region Leads to support internal auditing program at the site level to identify risk and compliance issues; develop and implement corrective actions and track responses
- Establish external facilities partners audit program and manage inspection activities in conjunction with site management
- Review results of facilities-related investigations, non-conformances (NCRs), and events to understand the impact to the portfolio. Provide SME guidance, direction and support to the sub-regional leads in developing corrective action plans to address critical issues
- Ensure execution and on-going compliance of SOPs, protocols, change controls, validation reports, and trend reports for processes / systems across the region
- Develop training curriculum and requirements in partnership with internal quality team, EHS&S, SSG and local enforcement agencies
- Gather data for the development of Service Level Agreements covering technical or qualified operations and internal customers as appropriate
- Develop and lead the establishment, harmonization and on-going compliance of SOPs, protocols, change controls, validation reports and trend reports for the processes/systems of the entire facilities portfolio inclusive of business continuity management
- Champion risk, quality and compliance in the Regions to eliminate conflict of interest at Regional, Sub-Region, or Micro-Region level
- Provide consistency and visibility across supply chain and non-supply chain sites; introduce rigor of dedicated focus on risk & compliance
- Champion cross-regional coordination to deliver outstanding quality, establish standard methodologies, and implement J&J worldwide policies and standards. Conduct annual Regional quality reviews in coordination with Regional FM leadership, business partners, and segment Quality organizations to highlight concerns and opportunities for improvement
- Use relevant quality reporting tools for each segment, providing a regional and segment overview and status of compliance metrics. Provide regional support for sites for audits by internal functions and external regulatory agencies (e.g. FDA, MAARS, EHSS Comprehensive Audit, ISO, etc.)
- Participate in workshops to identify, assess and determine responses to risks
- Serve as the Global SPOC for Make Quality compliance relating to facilities responsible requirements with a nominated Segment and collaborate with their peer Regional Risk, Compliance and Quality leads to ensure all segment quality programs are performed and supported
- Proactively engage and partner with the Global Make Quality function of the assigned segment to fully understand, influence and align the segment’s Make Quality strategies, policies, procedures and standards relating to facilities compliance with our Global Facilities execution programs and priorities
- Collaborate and align with Make Quality for the assigned segment and peer Regional Risk, Compliance and Quality leads to ensure a consistent interpretation of segment specific strategies, policies and procedures is applied and carried out
- Act as SME and Global Facilities interface for segment specific Quality and compliance databases, tools, applications, tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure peer Regional Risk, Compliance and Quality leads have a full knowledge and understanding of these systems, their requirements and activities necessary to support them
- Proactively partner with the assigned segment Make Quality function to ensure all facilities compliance data for that segment is accurate, current and correctly reflects the compliance status of the Global Facilities function on our sites. Where reporting and/or data accuracy issues exist collaborate with Segment organization, peer Regional Risk, Compliance and Quality leads and Regional Leads to ensure data accuracy is maintained
- Participate in workshops to identify, assess and determine responses to risks
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent University degree in related field (Engineering, Science, Business, Administration) required
- Master's degree, in related field (operations management, finance, engineering, architecture, real estate, facilities management, or business administration), or equivalent preferred
Experience & Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of 8 years of Risk Management or related experience, including Compliance Management
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical focus
- Ability to adapt emerging approaches and industry innovations

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
From $120,000 to $207,000. For the Bay Area, $ 138,000 to $238,050Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
