Johnson & Johnson, a renowned company committed to enhancing global health and well-being, is currently looking for a Data & Systems Specialist to join the Insights, Analytics & Planning (IAP) team. This Specialist role offers a chance to make a significant impact on the Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) group and contribute to the significant technology deployment happening over the next few years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis: Conducting thorough assessments of existing business processes through data analysis, interviews, and document review to identify areas for improvement.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements for business processes initial digitalization or improvement initiatives.
- Process Design: Developing new or improved business processes based on analysis findings, including workflow diagrams, detailed digital process maps, and system requirements.
- Implementation Support: Documenting technical requirements and work with technical development teams to implement solutions and ensure they meet business requirements. Facilitate the transition to new processes by providing training, support on the development of change management strategies, and ongoing support to business teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of implemented digital process capabilities and identify areas for further optimization.
- Documentation: Creating comprehensive digital process documentation including process maps, flowcharts, and detailed procedures.
- Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, including business leaders, users, and cross-functional teams.
- Gather requirements, validate ideas, and manage expectations effectively.
- Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
- Ensure stories meet the "Definition of Ready" before entering a sprint.
- Communicate business needs to development teams and technical constraints to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and testers to deliver high-quality products.
The role will work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for digital solutions.
- Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards, allowing the team to make data-driven decisions.
- Support the enhancement of strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Manage SharePoint and Power Apps solutions
- Manage permissions within SharePoint to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience (typically 5+ years) in data analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- MBA or Master's degree in a Technical field is highly desirable.
Experience & Required Skills:
- Minimum of four to six (4-6) years of related work experience.
- Experience in developing applications and scripts for various purposes.
- Strong proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and data visualization techniques.
- Extensive experience with data engineering practices, including data modeling, ETL processes, and database management (e.g., SQL).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks).
- Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Service Now, Salesforce, Alteryx) to improve workflow efficiency.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey insights to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders across different departments.
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft offices (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Suits such as Photoshop, XD.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI).
Preferred:
- General understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn) and analytics methodologies.
- Preference for individuals with strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global setting.

- Language Requirements: Proficiency (both oral and written) in English is required.
- Travel Requirements: This position may require up to 25% domestic and international travel.
