The Program
The West Coast Development Program (WCDP) is a California-based rotational program that provides technical specialists with valuable exposure to key functions of Johnson & Johnson's Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) groups, from research and development to quality and operations.

The Opportunity
Want to spearhead the development, design, validation and improvement of extraordinary medical devices that lead to better outcomes for patients? Participants in the West Coast Development Program provide vital input on all facets of the development of state-of-the-art medical devices, from concept selection to product characterization, design, testing and evaluation. Who We're Looking For


You'll learn essential project management skills—and acquire the experience that you need to build a successful career—while investigating the exciting world of new product development. Plus, you'll have a chance to make a real-world impact on the lives of patients everywhere.

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree
  • Ability to relocate geographically
  • Up to one year of professional full-time postgraduate work experience (excluding internships, co-ops and military)
  • Demonstrated leadership and technical skills
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Advanced analytics and analytical skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn in a dynamic environment
