Responsibilities:
Innovative Medicine, part of Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for Co-ops based in Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ or Spring House, PA to support the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Procurement Organization.
The Procurement Co-Ops will support the R&D Procurement or Commercial Procurement teams in the strategic acquisition of goods/services for J&J Innovative Medicine. Key responsibilities may include:
- Help support the implementation and achievement of J&J goals and objectives with a multi-national approach in an international team
- Lead special projects across the team including Category Strategy development and execution
- Support Procurement activities across variety of categories
- Management of supplier relationships and supplier innovation opportunities
- Competitive sourcing events, process improvement initiatives, spend analyses, tracking of key performance indicators, and support of functional initiatives, among others
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of a co-op assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s and/or MBA. Completion of Undergraduate Freshmen year at accredited University is required.
- Students should be pursuing a Bachelors in a business, engineering, supply chain or related field
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment with rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines is required
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and leadership skills are preferred
- Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results
- Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to the team goals
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Candidate must be able to work full time (40 hours per week), and adhere to J&J’s Flex policy (at least 3 days/week in office)
- Local travel may be required. Candidates must be able to provide their own transportation to/from their work location
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future

he anticipated base pay for this position is between 22$ per hour and 51.50$ per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Housing stipend will be offered for those that qualify. This position is ineligible for severance.
