Contributes to the Demand Planning family as an established and productive individual contributor, who works under moderate supervision. Helps implement projects, programs, and processes in support of the organization's overall supply chain strategy. Applies practical knowledge of the Demand Planning field to administer best of class policies, procedures, and plans for the area. Contributes to the improvement of the statistical forecasting knowledge and insights extraction from data in various forms, either structured or unstructured, which is a continuation of the data analysis fields such as statistics, machine learning, data mining, and predictive analytics.

Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Responsible for managing the immediate and medium-term production schedule for some of the Production Units in the manufacturing plants of J&J Medical (Suzhou) Ltd.
- Achieve an excellent Customer Service with low backorder levels, while maintaining control of the Inventory (RM, WIP, FG)
- Ensure that all Quality and EHS requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the responsibilities defined in the Company’s Safety Statement when procuring Stock items. Take part in problem solving in material flow
- Support creation of Master Production Schedule and agree and execute Schedule at code level with business partners (Manufacturing, Procurement and Engineering). Ensure the work in the production line (work orders). React to deviations to the production schedule. Reporting and tracking those deliveries meet the promises
- Integrate plant efficiency needs in the production schedule to support an optimal utilization of resources
- Lead and support Lean initiatives throughout the Plant as appropriate
- Lead and support system and process improvement programs where appropriate
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
