We are searching for the best talent for Indirect Channel Supervisor, Southern Region – Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Purpose: The Indirect Channel Supervisor is responsible for leading the comprehensive management of Johnson & Johnson MedTech distributors across the Southern Region, serving as the primary liaison between channel team mates and the company's cross-functional teams.

This role plays a critical part in the execution of the commercial strategy, implementation of the Go-To-Market (GTM) model, development of distributor capabilities, and oversight of compliance with Johnson & Johnson corporate standards and policies.

The position is accountable for ensuring distributors operate efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with Compliance, Quality, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and other corporate requirements, contributing to sustainable business growth and delivering value to healthcare professionals, customers, and patients.

The role manages a regional portfolio of distributors supporting multiple MedTech business units across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador, working closely with both local and regional teams.

You will be responsible for:

Strategic Distributor Management

  • Lead the business relationship with distributors across the Southern Region.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Johnson & Johnson MedTech and assigned distributors.

  • Identify opportunities for growth, geographic expansion, and distributor capability development.

  • Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of distributors' operational, commercial, and administrative needs.

  • Conduct regular business reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in distributor onboarding, assessment, development, and renewal processes.

  • Ensure consistent execution of the distribution model across all countries within the scope of responsibility.

Commercial Performance Management

  • Monitor channel performance, business objectives, and key performance indicators.

  • Support the implementation of Go-To-Market initiatives and organizational transformation programs.

  • Analyze business performance metrics and develop corrective action plans when required.

  • Collaborate with Business Units to execute strategic growth initiatives and support commercial priorities.

  • Prepare and deliver business insights and performance reports to stakeholders.

Compliance and Channel Governance

  • Ensure distributors operate in full compliance with Johnson & Johnson policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Oversee Third Party Management and due diligence programs.

  • Monitor completion of required compliance training and certifications.

  • Lead preventive and corrective actions resulting from audits, monitoring activities, or risk assessments.

  • Partner closely with HCC, Compliance, Legal, and Quality functions to strengthen the culture of integrity across the channel.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks associated with distributors.

Process Management and Operational Excellence

  • Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, commercial policies, and Indirect Channel procedures.

  • Coordinate contract-related processes and supporting documentation requirements.

  • Collaborate with Pricing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Credit & Collections, and other key functions to maintain operational continuity.

  • Promote simplification, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the distributor network.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with commercial leaders, functional teams, and external partners.

  • Act as a bridge between distributor needs and company strategic priorities.

  • Promote cross-functional and cross-country collaboration to achieve business objectives.

Regional Scope

The position has direct responsibility for the distributor portfolio operating across:

  • Argentina

  • Chile

  • Uruguay

  • Bolivia

  • Peru

  • Ecuador

The role supports multiple MedTech franchises and business units, ensuring business performance, operational excellence, governance, and compliance across the Southern Region.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or related field.

  • MBA or postgraduate studies preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, distributor management, channel management, or related commercial functions.

  • Experience working within highly regulated multinational organizations.

  • Proven experience managing third parties and indirect distribution models.

  • Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and commercial governance processes.
