We are searching for the best talent for PRINCIPAL CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
Performs the assigned calibration activities, maintaining the department's calibration objectives with zero over dues. Performs calibration procedures correctly by using the applicable calibration standards appropriately.
You will be responsible for:
Calibrates, maintains, and safeguards inspection, measuring, test equipment (IM&TE) and software according to guidelines and procedures.
Participates in the development and maintenance of written calibration procedures.
Maintains calibration records for IM&TE.
Development and maintenance of written calibration procedures (for senior)
Generates NCR’s according to local procedures. (for senior)
Ensure all disposition and changes to IM&TE’s are made following procedures. (for senior)
Responsible for adequate training to Technicians according to Symmetry System (for senior)
Compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and other safety precautions within the work area.
Ensures that the controlled environmental monitoring is complete and on schedule.
Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EHS) responsibilities
Follow J&J and Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records, and third-party vendor if applicable.
Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications / Requirements:
Technical Career Studies or equivalent applicable to the area: Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Metrology, Instrumentalist.
Metrology certification preferred
Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.
6 to 8 years of experience in related fields.
BS Degree in progress.
One-year experience in calibration system required (for senior and upper levels)
Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred
GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred
Knowledge of calibration and metrology preferred for level I &II and required for senior and upper levels.
Knowledge of electronic, pneumatic and electrical systems preferred
NCR system knowledge required
eMarket Place / JD system knowledge preferred.
PC literate preferred
Maximo System Knowledge preferred.
