This role leads the country-level marketing strategy for the Surgery platform, translating global priorities into a local growth agenda and driving sales growth, profitability, and market expansion. The position combines strategic marketing leadership, cross-functional execution, team development, investment management, and KOL strategy ownership to support long-term business success.

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for leading a country-level marketing organization and setting the strategic direction for the platform, translating global priorities into a comprehensive local growth agenda.
  • This senior manager role oversees the development and execution of the Platform Strategy, including pricing strategy as a key component, and the Marketing Plan, with full accountability for delivering sales growth, profitability, and sustainable market expansion.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops a team of more than five direct reports, building a high-performing organization with strong talent pipelines, clear accountability, and a culture of collaboration and execution.
  • Acts as a senior business leader and strategic partner to sales leadership, providing direction and support to ensure effective commercial execution and achievement of business objectives across all market segments.
  • Drives alignment and execution across multiple internal functions, ensuring marketing strategies are integrated with commercial priorities, operational capabilities, and customer needs.
  • Orchestrates cross functional collaboration to deploy marketing plans effectively, remove barriers, and accelerate business impact.
  • Owns country-level marketing investment decisions, including OPEX and CAPEX allocation, and ensures disciplined resource management tied to strategic priorities and return on investment.
  • Also leads the KOL strategy as a critical enabler of platform success, strengthening external engagement, market development, and long-term competitive positioning.

Qualifications

  • Education: University / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.
  • Strong leadership, influence & interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical & organizational skills
  • Creative thinker, with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communicator with effective influencing skills
  • The ability to collaborate in a cross-functional and virtual team environment is required
  • Ability to think broadly and strategically, beyond individual platform is required
  • Advanced/Fluent level of English (Oral and Written)
  • Master in Business Administration, Science or Finance preferred

Experience

  • Marketing Experience (included not limited) to:
  • Marketing Plan Development and Execution
  • A minimum of 7 (seven) years of experience in Commercial functions such as Marketing, Sales or Business Administration is required
  • A minimum of 2 (two) years of experience leading / supervising commercial teams is required
  • Team Supervision (attract, develop & retain high performance talent)
  • Working in cross-functional teams (leadership through influence Seeking/capturing market insights and translating them into plans and solutions viable for customers).
  • Communicating value, translating market dynamics into effective pricing strategies, and driving profitability.
  • Portfolio Management, life cycle management and new product launch.
  • S&OP, forecasting and demand planning
  • Market Research, Agency Management
  • Experience in Medical Devices is preferred
