Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiologie est présentement à la recherche d’un spécialiste des comptes cliniques à Montréal et les environs. Il s'agit d'un poste contractuel à temps plein.

Principales responsabilités

- Fournir un soutien clinique professionnel aux médecins et aux prestataires de soins de santé sur l'utilisation sécuritaire et efficace de notre système de cartographie tridimensionnelle (CARTO 3) dans les salles d'électrophysiologie et les salles d'opération.

- Fournir un soutien et une expertise sur l'ensemble du portefeuille de produits de Biosense Webster relatifs aux procédures d'électrophysiologie, y compris les cathéters de diagnostic et d'ablation, les cathéters d'échographie intracardiaque (ICE) et le générateur d'ablation par radiofréquence (RF) ou par champ pulsé (PFA).

- Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour toutes les considérations cliniques dans les comptes hospitaliers du territoire (y compris le service à la clientèle, la gestion des stocks et le dépannage de l'équipement).

- Agir en tant que ressource technique par le biais de l'éducation et de la formation concernant CARTO 3, les produits Biosense Webster, les techniques d'ablation et les procédures d'électrophysiologie avec les clients nouveaux et existants (médecins, infirmières et technologues).

Qualifications :

- Un diplôme universitaire en sciences de la santé, en ingénierie ou en commerce ou un diplôme de technologue en cardiologie est requis.

- Un minimum d'un an d'expérience clinique, technique ou de recherche dans le domaine des soins aux patients, en milieu hospitalier ou dans le domaine des dispositifs médicaux (les stages éducatifs ou pratiques sont acceptés en tant qu'expérience professionnelle).

- Connaissance du système de cartographie CARTO 3 un atout.

- Capacité à travailler en parfaite harmonie avec les médecins et les infirmières en leur accordant toute l'attention nécessaire pendant toute la durée de l'intervention cardiaque. Le poste exige de travailler en salle d'opération, d'assister à des interventions sur des patients en direct et d'être prêt à travailler selon des horaires variables pour répondre aux besoins des patients.

- Le candidat doit être prêt à effectuer jusqu'à 40 % de déplacements professionnels de nuit sur son territoire en fonction des besoins des clients et de l'entreprise, parfois dans des délais très courts.

- La conduite étant une exigence du poste, un permis de conduire valide est nécessaire et le dossier de conduite sera vérifié pour conduire le véhicule fourni par l'entreprise.

- Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français.

- Bilingue (français et anglais) — veuillez noter qu’une maîtrise de l’anglais (à l’écrit comme à l’oral) est requise pour ce poste, puisque vous serez appelé(e) à interagir avec des clients et des parties prenantes anglophones.

- Possibilité de devoir soulever des charges allant jusqu'à 40 livres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional clinical support to physicians and health care providers on the safe and effective use of our three-dimensional mapping system (CARTO 3) in the Electrophysiology and OR suites.

  • Provide support and expertise on the full Biosense Webster product portfolio relating to electrophysiology procedures, including diagnostic and ablation catheters, intra-cardiac echo (ICE) catheters, RF and PFA ablation generators.

  • Act as the main point of contact for all clinical considerations at hospital accounts in the territory (including customer in-servicing, inventory management and equipment troubleshooting).

  • Act as a technical resource through education and training relating to CARTO 3, Biosense Webster products, ablation techniques, and electrophysiology procedures with new and existing customers (physicians, nurses and technologists).

  • Responsible in playing an integral part in optimally rolling out new technology, including peer to peer training amongst BW staff, customer training & presentations and physician feedback collection.

  • As a key member of the field team, manage account relationships in a thoughtful and strategic manner in collaboration with the Product Specialist to drive business and market share growth objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A University Degree in health sciences, engineering or business or a Cardiology Technologist diploma is required.

  • A minimum 1 year of clinical, technical or research work experience in a patient care, hospital environment or medical device background (Educational placements or practicums accepted as work experience).

  • Ability to focus on working seamlessly with operating physicians and nurses by providing undivided attention throughout the entire cardiac procedure. Position requires working in an operating room setting, attending live patient procedures and willing to work variable hours to meet patient needs.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 40% overnight business travel within territory based on customer and business needs, occasionally on short notice.

  • As driving is a requirement of the role, a valid driver’s license and safe driving record are requirements to operate a company issued vehicle.

  • Fluent English & French.

  • English required due to frequent communication with English-speaking stakeholders.

  • May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
