Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a SFA, Platform Support, FP&A, located in Raynham, MA.

This role provides financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and platform support for DePuy Synthes, partnering closely with finance and business stakeholders to deliver accurate forecasting, reporting, and insights. The SFA will support financial systems and platforms, ensure data integrity, and enable informed decision‑making through strong analysis and standardized reporting. This position offers the opportunity to influence business performance, improve financial processes, and support scalable finance operations during a period of transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and variance analysis.

  • Provide platform and system support for finance tools, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely issue resolution.

  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations to support business decision‑making.

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities.

  • Support standardization and continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting, and controls.

  • Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial governance requirements.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree in a finance‑related discipline.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or related analytical roles.

  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting experience.

  • Experience supporting financial systems or platforms and working with large data sets.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

  • Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both finance and non‑finance partners.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or healthcare environment.

  • Exposure to ERP or FP&A platforms (e.g., planning, consolidation, or reporting systems).

  • Experience supporting business transformations or system implementations.

  • Knowledge of internal controls, SOX, and financial governance standards.

  • Ability to drive process improvements and standardization initiatives.

Other:

  • Language: English proficiency required.

  • Travel: Minimal travel may be required (generally less than 10%).

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
