We are searching for the best talent for a Sales Manager Oncology Gulf role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Purpose: The Sales Manager Oncology is responsible for leading and driving the commercial execution of the Oncology portfolio across the Gulf region. The role is accountable for achieving business objectives through strategic leadership, high-performance team management, strong cross-functional collaboration, and customer-centric execution aligned with Johnson & Johnson’s Credo values. The Sales Manager will lead a team of Product Specialists and work closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence, and Strategic Account Management teams to maximize patient access and business growth while ensuring full compliance with healthcare regulations and J&J policies.
You will be responsible for:
1- Business Leadership & Execution:
Deliver annual sales, market share, and profitability objectives for the Oncology portfolio.
Translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans with measurable KPIs.
Drive strong field execution excellence across key accounts and territories.
Monitor business performance, identify gaps/opportunities, and implement corrective actions proactively.
Lead account prioritization and territory optimization initiatives.
2- Team Leadership & People Development:
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team across the Gulf region.
Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, agility, and growth mindset.
Identify talent development opportunities and succession planning needs.
Ensure high engagement and strong compliance culture within the team.
3- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including KOLs, hospital decision-makers, procurement bodies, and healthcare institutions.
Support strategic engagement with governmental and private healthcare sectors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance patient access and customer experience.
4- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with:
Medical Affairs on scientific engagement and evidence generation.
Market Access teams on access optimization and reimbursement initiatives.
Commercial Excellence on analytics, targeting, and execution KPIs.
Supply Chain to ensure forecast accuracy and product availability.
5- Compliance & Governance
Ensure all activities comply with J&J Healthcare Compliance policies, local regulations, and industry codes.
Promote ethical business practices and patient-centric decision-making.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or related field.
MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
Minimum 7–10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
Strong experience in Oncology specialty business required.
Previous people management experience is highly preferred.
Proven track record in driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
