The role leads the delivery and lifecycle management of technologies that operate and automate >$13B in inventory and core DC operations, including systems that enable product shipments, inventory management, and high-volume labeling (~150M labels annually across ~260K SKUs). In addition, this role provides global ownership for RSC and eIFU capabilities that support compliant product movement, labeling, and regulated customer-facing documentation. This position consolidates DC technology and operations across the Americas into a single organization, standardizing technology and best practices, reducing complexity, and improving reliability and efficiency.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end SCT technology strategy and operations for all Distribution Centers across North and Latin America (24+ sites), ensuring availability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead delivery and lifecycle management of technologies that operate and automate >$13B in inventory and core DC business operations.
  • Drive systems that enable product shipments and inventory management across MedTech distribution facilities, ensuring accuracy, throughput, and SLA adherence.
  • Design, implement, and sustain labeling and shipping solutions producing ~150M labels annually across ~260K SKUs, optimizing throughput and reducing errors.
  • Establish governance, KPIs, and incident response for DC technologies (e.g., WMS, TMS, labeling, PLC/WCS integrations), delivering measurable uptime, throughput, and quality improvements.
  • Manage financial performance and investment stewardship, including a $130M P&L and >$300M in capital investments focused on automation, driving ROI, cost efficiency, and measurable operational improvements.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing organization (5–7 direct reports; ~200+ indirect resources), fostering accountability, technical capability, and continuous upskilling.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned, including support for cross-functional initiatives (e.g., network modernization, automation/controls strategy, and business continuity planning).
  • Represent the organization in audits, inspections, and governance forums related to DC technology, labeling, regulated documentation (RSC/eIFU), and data/security controls.
  • Support incident escalations during peak periods as needed, ensuring timely executive communication and coordinated recovery across partners and sites.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading technology delivery and operations in supply chain/logistics/distribution and/or other large-scale operational environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-site operations technology, including accountability for reliability, service management, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven people leadership experience (including leading managers and/or leading through matrixed and partner organizations) and ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing significant budgets and investment portfolios (P&L and/or capital planning), including value/ROI tracking.
  • Experience with DC/logistics technology ecosystems such as WMS, TMS, labeling/shipping, and automation integrations (e.g., PLC/WCS).

Preferred

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS Engineering, MS Supply Chain, or MS Information Systems)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Lean/Six Sigma)
  • Deep understanding of DC/logistics systems (WMS, TMS, labeling/shipping) and integrations with automation/controls (PLC/WCS) and enterprise platforms.
  • Strong service management, incident/problem management, and KPI-driven operations leadership.
  • Financial acumen to manage P&L and capital investment portfolios, build ROI cases, and track benefit realization.
  • Ability to lead through influence across business, quality, security, and external partners; strong executive communication.
