Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager supporting Enterprise Functions Planning, Systems and Master Data. This role can be based in New Brunswick, NJ, and is a hybrid position that will require you to be in the office 3 days a week.

Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Functions Planning, Systems & Master Data is responsible for end‑to‑end Enterprise Functions planning quality, master data governance, and execution of the long‑range financial plan. This role serves as the primary business owner for TM1 and Anaplan planning environments, drives automation and simplification, and ensures data integrity and scalability in alignment with Global Finance and SigniFi transformation roadmaps.

The role partners closely with Enterprise Function leadership, Corporate Finance, Global Functions, Groups, and A&D teams to support forecasting, actuals, long‑range planning, master data strategy, and system modernization, including the transition from TM1 to Anaplan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Enterprise Functions planning systems, including TM1 (Global Functions, CHQ and Cost Center Enrichment) and Anaplan support for forecast, actuals, and long‑range financial plan.

  • Own TM1 roadmap execution and manage impacts to TM1 during the transition to Anaplan, including decommissioning of CHQ/GF TM1 post‑Anaplan MVP2 go‑live.

  • Serve as Enterprise Functions Master Data Architect, acting as final approver for structural master data and designing aligned security structures.

  • Lead implementation and ongoing governance of the MDG tool and approval strategy.

  • Partner on SigniFi, A&D integration, SOP migration, and decommissioning of legacy processes.

  • Drive automation, simplification, and system enablement, including user training and reporting support across Enterprise Functions.

  • Lead Long Range Financial Planning for Enterprise Functions and coordinate enterprise benchmarking. Executively frame LRFP to Senior Finance Leaders.

  • Lead COE/FFL forums and jointly manage Enterprise Functions LT meetings, agendas, and the Enterprise Functions Playbook.

The role demands a high degree of independence, along with strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior, cross-functional stakeholders. It requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Additionally, the role involves leading system migrations and driving automation and simplification initiatives.

The position will supervise a Lead Analyst and must prioritize activities, ensuring a high level of customer service. The ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize tasks and meet all deadlines will be critical for success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field required

  • Advanced degree and/or professional certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA) preferred

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Finance or Accounting experience, with strong knowledge of financial processes and ERP systems

  • Prior supervisory experience with a demonstrated passion for people development and talent management

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and effectively partner across functions

  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive value creation, process development, and continuous improvement

  • Advanced financial modeling expertise, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, lookup functions)

  • Demonstrates strong willingness to educate new users, with patience and adaptability to varying levels of technical proficiency

  • Experience with data automation and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau) preferred

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and drive clarity

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership in a complex, matrixed environment

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to develop compelling business cases and presentations (PowerPoint)

  • Preferred location is New Brunswick, NJ

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000-$212,750

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
