Position Summary
The Commercial Compliance Specialist Spain Surgery supports the execution of business activities in line with company policies, healthcare compliance standards, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Strategic Accounts, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to help ensure that business processes, customer inte actions, events, contracts, and documentation are reviewed, tracked, and managed with a strong focus on integrity, accuracy, and timely execution. The position plays an important role in promoting compliant ways of working, reducing operational risk, and enabling the business to move efficiently while meeting internal governance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the review and coordination of business activities to help ensure alignment with internal policies, healthcare compliance standards, and local governance requirements.
Assist in the preparation, collection, verification, and maintenance of documentation related to customer engagements, sponsorships, events, educational activities, and other business interactions.
Track approval workflows and follow-up actions to support timely submission, review, and completion of compliance-related processes across the business.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Strategic Accounts, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to support compliant execution of commercial and customerfacing activities.
Help identify documentation gaps, process deviations, or execution risks and escalate issues appropriately to support proactive resolution.
Support the development and continuous improvement of standard operating practices, trackers, templates, and administrative processes that strengthen compliance execution and business efficiency.
Maintain accurate records, trackers, and status updates, providing visibility on key compliance support activities, deadlines, and outstanding requirements.
Provide day-to-day operational support for audits, internal reviews, monitoring activities, and reporting needs related to business compliance processes.
Contribute to a culture of integrity by promoting awareness of compliant ways of working and serving as a reliable support partner to the Surgery business in Spain.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in business support, compliance coordination, sales operations, finance operations, legal support, contract administration, or related roles within MedTech, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated environments.
Strong understanding of administrative discipline, documentation quality, process control, and the importance of operating within policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, follow detailed processes, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, and maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Experience working with approval workflows, documentation systems, trackers, or business support tools; exposure to compliance-related processes is highly valued.
Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, manage priorities effectively, and support the business with professionalism and good judgment.
