Purpose

Leads government accounts in Colombia and is responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding market share, and meeting customer needs through strong account ownership, strategic negotiation, and long-term partnership development. The role identifies and executes tailored solutions for public-sector customers, represents the enterprise across key stakeholders, and works cross-functionally to advance business priorities. This individual partners closely with the commercial organization, including Clinical Demand Generation, Commercial Operations, and Commercial Excellence, to support tender strategy and execution. The role also works hand in hand with clinical sales teams to achieve product specification and positioning, increasing the inclusion of our portfolio in public tenders. As a seasoned individual contributor, this person operates independently with minimal supervision and supports the implementation of projects, programs, and processes aligned with the overall Clinical Sales team- Hospital/Hospital Systems strategy in the country.



Responsibilities:

  • Helps establish and implement cost-effective, results-driven, and professionally managed programs and innovative initiatives to strengthen Clinical Sales - Hospital/Hospital Systems capabilities.
  • Contributes to projects, programs, and processes that support the Clinical Sales – Public Hospitals / Hospital Systems strategy.
  • Uses market insights, customer needs, and competitive analysis to continuously improve account strategies and commercial execution.
  • Generates growth initiatives by leveraging customer analytics and translating insights into data-driven sales and retention strategies.
  • Supports the strengthening of the sales process and the development of strategic relationships and value-based projects with government accounts.
  • Partners closely with the Commercial Excellence team to support the preparation, coordination, and submission of public tenders and bidding processes.
  • Works in close collaboration with clinical sales teams to drive product specification efforts and secure inclusion of our products in public tenders.
  • Strengthens competitive positioning through innovative sales strategies and customer retention initiatives.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues on techniques, processes, and responsibilities, while modeling Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions.
  • Builds relationships with key external stakeholders within assigned government accounts, including C-suite leaders, procurement teams, operating room leaders, and marketing leaders.
  • Manages accounts receivable performance within assigned accounts.
  • Job is eligible for sales incentive / sales commissions.
