Responsibilities:
As District Manager, Neuroscience you will:
Lead, motivate and develop a sales team of specialists towards attaining objectives for Neuroscience products within the portfolio through presenting complex clinical and business information to an audience of office and institutional based Psychiatric and Primary Care Specialists and others involved in the decision-making process
Demonstrate the ability to craft their business strategically while operating within an assigned budget
Pull-through region / district vision, build team culture, manage representative performance, develop and motivate people and teams, demonstrate core product's clinical attributes, build valuable customer relationships, and achieve their sales quota
Collaborate with partners and work in the field with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required while an MBA or Master’s Degree is preferred
At least Five (5) or more years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or healthcare industries, or large account development related experience. Significant experience in training and development also preferred.
Proven leadership performance and proficiencies
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A valid driver's license within the 50 United States, and clean driving record
Ability to travel as needed (including overnights and weekends)
Residence within, or willingness to relocate to, the geography
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the therapeutic area(s) of Neuroscience, Psychiatry, or Neurology
Successful completion of J&J Management Development Program (MDP) or prior people-leadership experience (in lieu of MDP completion)
Significant local market knowledge and experience along with the ability to build and execute strategic business plans
