Áreas del Programa de Practicas:
Finance Intern — Sales Controlling
Location: Mexico City, Mexico
We are seeking a motivated student to join our Finance Sales Controlling team as a Finance Intern. The intern will support sales controlling activities including financial and commercial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and documentation control, gaining hands-on experience that contributes to commercial decision-making.
Work arrangement: - Hybrid — 3 days in office (Mexico City) and 2 days remote.
- Support preparation and review of financial reports by customer and channel under senior supervision.
- Assist with month-end close activities: collect supporting documents, perform basic reconciliations and prepare journal entry support.
- Help maintain and update the Business Plan at customer/channel level and produce year‑over‑year comparisons for profitability analysis.
- Prepare variance analyses and assist in developing alternative scenarios to inform commercial decisions.
- Monitor sales-related financial performance metrics and support tracking of customer investments versus plan.
- Support documentation control for commercial agreements, promotional grids and contracts for audits and internal reviews.
- Prepare inputs and slides for presentations to finance and commercial stakeholders.
- Liaise with Key Account Managers (KAMs), Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to collect information and resolve queries.
- Participate in process improvement and automation projects and complete ad‑hoc financial analyses as requested.
Requirements:
- Current student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Preferably in the penultimate year or final year of studies.
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas); basic knowledge of macros/SQL is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals.
- Intermediate English (reading and comprehension); advanced English is a plus.
- Availability for an internship (duration and weekly hours to be agreed).
- Proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and good communication skills.
