• Manage capacity planning requirements for the facility, including supply needs and production volume pipeline;
• Plan and prepare programs of production and acquisition of raw material for manufacturing through planners and schedulers;
• Connect with demand and supply planning to ensure continuous flow of information and a fully integrated approach to delivering key metrics;
• Partnership with the Procurement area with the aim of improving supplier performance, including quality and timely delivery;
• Responsible for capacity planning in the short and medium term;
• Manages production planning and establishes clear performance standards to ensure people accountable for results, deliver customer service goals, optimize inventory investments;
• Provide clear leadership for the local team;
• Represent the supply chain in the plant leadership team;
• Performs inventory plans by sales forecast to meet both customer service and inventory targets;
• Manages inventory expenses;
• Implements and conducts inventory modeling processes and tools;
• Analyzes the results and initiates the appropriate action to meet the business goals;
• Leads the identification of inventory management opportunities that improve profitability through cost reduction, cost elimination and process improvements;
• Oversee warehouse workflow routine;
• Assigns projects and assesses the allocation of resources to determine the appropriate staffing level;
• Examines reports on the results of periodic inventory of warehouse items;
• Ensures that discrepancies are addressed and resolved;
• Collaborate with other departments to establish the workload and planned schedules for planning;
• Request information on important events and negotiate the parameters of special projects such as promotional distributions;
• Provides information and approves procedures for safe storage and movement of materials inside and outside the warehouse;
• Evaluates safety and environmental reports to ensure compliance;
• Establishes department goals and metrics;
• Institutes and monitors the department's budget and adherence to cost control;
• Supports and accompanies audits (QA, EHS, compliance, others);
• Responsible for behavior / culture related to EHS.
• Ensure CIP goals to improve cost competitiveness.
