Overview

The CEM works with the sales leadership in setting goals and objectives for the team and in assessing and providing quantitative and qualitative feedback on team performance. Achieves team/customer engagement plan through field visits. Accountable for strategic platforms achievement through engaging in business planning and regular sales reviews and analysis. Conducts periodic learning needs assessment and analysis and articulates those details in the clinical educational activities while measure progress over time. Builds a solid KOL/Customer network to ensure best in class sales, marketing as well as clinical educational execution and avoid wasting resources. Supervise high standards of ongoing trainings for the team as well as the customer network so that they possess sufficient medical, technical and application knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner. Supports new product launches and to ensure we have the right clinical and marketing literatures and materials.

Role Description

Clinical Education (Product training and events)

  • Help to design and execute the medical education activities aligned with the market trends, customers need and company strategy such as: COE, workshops & in-service, SOTM, animal lap, local champion, local and international congress & training courses.
  • Local Learning Need Assessment and segmentation
  • Leading the local execution of Prof ED offerings in the respective countries
  • Follow up on the outcome after the Clinical Education / Product training activity and identify the next engagement per HCP.
  • Events management.

Commercial ED

  • Assess and evaluate the knowledge level of the sales force team.
  • Help to develop the medical knowledge (Products, Anatomy & Procedures), improve the selling skills (Challenger) of the team and organize specific training and development program in various functions
  • Improve New Hire Coaching & Training by:
    • Mentor and support training of new hires from new hires start date, through induction & self-led learning section of the Academy curriculum, to maximise training impact and ensure learning application
    • Joint responsibility with RSM to develop new hires and make ’fit for purpose’ within first 6 months
  • Partner with Commercial Education team on assessing local needs and follow up. Together with the coordination of Local and International training for the team
  • Guidance of field sales trainers
  • Assist the marketing and education departments in ongoing product, procedure and sales skills refresher training, recertification and education initiatives (country-specific education plans).

Marketing

  • Marketing plan execution and deployment:
    • Understand the marketing plans & strategies.
    • All activities CEM’s do in the field should be aligned with marketing plan and be promoting strategic products.
    • CEM should be involved in activities led by marketing that are related to products
    • Should be researching clinical papers and teaching team and customers about these papers.
    • Should be driving clinical evidence related to strategic products.
    • Management of marketing materials (brochures, roll up, booth...etc.)

Compliance Statement

  • Observes and promotes all regulatory requirements as defined per applicable regulations, rules and procedures established by the Company, and notifies any violation or deviation to the immediate supervisor or appropriate authority.
  • Complies with own training requirements to perform duties of own job

Requirement

3-5 years related experience

Eligibility for approximately 50% of travel (may be required).
