DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Engineer, Automation Acceleration, located in Bangalore, India.
The Engineer, Automation Acceleration plays a critical role in transforming Human Resources operations by designing, building, and implementing automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of HR and technology, contributing to enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives while improving employee and manager experiences through streamlined processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and deploy automation solutions that improve HR efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Translate business requirements into technical automation designs, workflows, integrations, and system configurations
Build and maintain automation solutions using approved automation and workflow technologies
Develop, test, and support integrations between HR platforms, workflow tools, and enterprise systems
Perform solution testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support activities
Monitor automation performance and proactively identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization
Ensure automation solutions comply with security, governance, and data privacy requirements
Create and maintain technical documentation, support materials, and deployment standards
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to deliver automation initiatives
Support the development of next-generation automation capabilities leveraging AI, workflow orchestration, and digital technologies
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field required
Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or MBA) preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
2-4 years experience in automation engineering, process improvement, HR systems, or related technical fields (the job catalog indicates entry-level professional roles typically require limited experience)
Good Basic understanding of automation technologies (e.g., RPA, workflow tools, scripting)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to translate business requirements into technical or process solutions
Experience working with automation tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, ServiceNow, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms
Exposure to API integrations, system interfaces, data flows, and workflow orchestration
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills
Preferred:
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerFX, or similar technologies
Experience supporting HR systems, HR shared services, or digital transformation initiatives
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
Exposure to AI, intelligent automation, or digital employee experience solutions
Other:
Language: Proficiency in English required
Travel: Minimal travel may be required
Certifications: Automation (e.g., RPA), process improvement, or related technical certifications preferred
