Job Description:

Compliance Manager - Compliance Business Partner (Compliance BP)

Location: Beijing

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Business Compliance Oversight

Conduct pre-event compliance assessments and approvals, in-process spot checks and monitoring, and post-event expense reviews for activities such as scientific promotion, meetings and events, healthcare professional (HCP) engagements, and third-party collaborations. Ensure closed-loop risk management throughout the business process.

2. Support Strategic Compliance Decision-Making and Execution Excellence

Provide compliance guidance, risk assessments, and practical implementation solutions for various business scenarios, including marketing strategies and digital promotion initiatives. Safeguard regulatory compliance while enabling sustainable and compliant business growth.

3. Deliver Compliance Training and Foster a Culture of Integrity

Based on Johnson & Johnson's Code of Business Conduct and compliance principles, regularly conduct targeted compliance training, case discussions, and consultation sessions for business teams. Enhance compliance awareness across frontline employees, cultivate compliance role models, and work closely with departmental Compliance Champions to build a strong compliance culture across functions and regions.

4. Promote an Industry-Wide Compliance Ecosystem

Manage the full lifecycle of compliance oversight for medical collaboration institutions and business partners. Establish and maintain third-party risk registers and continuously reduce external partnership risks. Provide professional compliance support in responding to external compliance inspections, investigations, and compliance-related incidents.

5. Compliance Digitalization and Process Optimization

Participate in the implementation and enhancement of compliance digital platforms and intelligent review tools. Leverage digital solutions to reduce compliance costs, improve risk management efficiency, and enable traceability, monitoring, and early-warning capabilities.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Major in Law, Auditing, Business Administration, Economics, or related disciplines preferred.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology innovation companies.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end commercialization process for prescription and innovative medicines.
  • Prior experience in Compliance Business Partner roles, business compliance, internal controls, audit, or compliance inspection functions within leading pharmaceutical companies or publicly listed organizations is preferred.

Professional Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC) compliance, scientific promotion compliance, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced business environment.
  • Willingness to take on intensive, project-based assignments and critical compliance initiatives when required.
