Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The MSL mission is to, through customized interactions, discuss our treatments with physicians and other customers to shape behaviors and support informed decision making whilst identifying and bringing medical insights into the organization as inputs to medical strategy.
The main activities are:
- Is a scientific medical reference for internal and external stakeholders
- Builds relationships with community and academic HCPs focusing on changing medical behavior through the exchange of scientific knowledge
- Conveys the value of the attributes related to the innovation (ie, efficacy, safety, effectiveness, adherence, QoL) to gain attribute endorsement with stakeholders
- Executes field medical educational events focused on pipeline close to launch and key in-line products
- Shapes the medical practice by changing behaviors within the HCP community during product pre-launch phases - prepare the health care environment and medical community, accelerate adoption (PIs engagement and pre-approval access programs)
- Designs and executes the KOL engagement plan according to strategy and validated by MAF and other internal business partners
- Ensures continued medical education aligned with the KOL engagement plan, following up on adoption of new knowledge, identifying barriers for medical practice change for innovative products
- Responds to scientific inquiries of HCPs / investigators / health care systems and public health decision makers, integrating scientific data into real life practice to meet audience needs
- Gathers insights from field interactions regarding scientific knowledge, treatments paradigms, competitors, medical needs and opportunities
- Works collaboratively in daily GFC work, in the implementation of medical strategies aligned with the product life cycle.
- Identifies potential sites and support sites recruitment when needed in alignment with the TA Head/Medical Manager
Minimum Qualification
- Masters degree
- Relevant work experience in health care or academic research
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in MS Office
- Available to travel 70% of time
- Valid type-B drivers’ license
Other Requirements
- Doctoral degree is desirable
- Deep Immunology knowledge and skills to interpret scientific data
- Communication and presentation skills
- Business acumen
- Teamwork, leadership and influencing skills – able to work effectively in a matrix organization and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with Leading Specialists
