Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Labeling Product Owner, located in Raynham, MA or West Chester, PA or New Brunswick, NJ or Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Warsaw, IN.

This role is accountable for defining and delivering the Labeling System product that enables reliable, compliant, and scalable label printing operations across DePuy Synthes. The Labeling Product Owner partners closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into a clear technology roadmap and to lead end to end delivery of Labeling capabilities. This position has a direct impact on operational performance, compliance, and digital transformation across the manufacturing and distribution network, and reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the Labeling product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to Supply Chain and manufacturing and distribution business priorities.
  • Act as the primary product owner for Labeling platforms, translating business requirements into prioritized backlogs and actionable delivery plans. Lead platform consolidation and modernization initiative.
  • Lead end‑to‑end Labeling solution delivery, including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare, ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure Labeling solutions support GMP, data integrity, and audit readiness requirements.
  • Manage vendor and system integrator relationships, including scope definition, performance management, and financial oversight.
  • Establish and monitor product KPIs to measure value realization, system performance, and user adoption. Develop and Optimize Total cost of ownership modeling for Labeling platforms.
  • Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of internal and external resources, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Develop technical support team and process to support global mfg and distribution site rollouts
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and IT governance standards.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (required).
  • Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).

Experience and Skills

Required

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in IT product management, Labeling systems, or supply chain technology roles.
  • Extensive experience with Labeling systems within regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals), including system design, integration, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of labeling and content mgmt processes, and data flows and integrations across ERP, PLM and data mgmt layers.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business and operational requirements into clear product roadmaps and prioritized delivery plans.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, and delivery timelines for enterprise‑scale technology programs.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing stakeholders across IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Strong decision‑making, communication, and change‑management skills in matrixed, global organizations.

Preferred

  • Hands‑on experience with leading Labeling platforms and related technologies (e.g., content mgmt and master data).
  • Knowledge of validation practices (CSV) and data integrity principles in regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing and distribution networks and large‑scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Prior people management or formal team‑lead experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and inspire high‑performing teams.

Other

  • English proficiency required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Product Management, Agile, PMP, Lableing‑specific certifications) are preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

102,000.00 - 204,000.00 USD

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
