Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a FI/CO Technical Product Manager to be located in Raritan, NJ

BEACON is an Innovative Medicine R&D (IMRD) SAP ERP platform supporting financial operations across 80+ countries and approximately 20,000 users, including Finance and Tax Shared Services organizations. BEACON is a mission-critical, SOX-regulated platform that enables core financial, project, procurement, reporting, and planning processes across the global IMRD organization.

The IMRD IT Financial Systems Team supports Global IMRD Finance organizations, Janssen Business Services (Belgium), and Janssen Global Services (Manila).

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance professional who combines strong financial process knowledge with SAP functional and technical expertise. The successful candidate will lead solution design, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives across the BEACON ecosystem while collaborating with global business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis, research, solution design, and development of new capabilities and integrations across the SAP ecosystem.
  • Translate business challenges into scalable technology solutions, defining value cases and measurable business outcomes.
  • Design and deliver new solutions and enhancements based on business requirements.
  • Provide functional and technical leadership to development teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Guide technical teams in developing, configuring, and implementing solutions aligned with product development standards.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC and Agile methodologies, architectural standards, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain technical integrity across projects by promoting reuse of common capabilities and eliminating duplication.
  • Partner with functional teams to develop test strategies, test cases, and automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to product strategy, roadmap development, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Review and support creation of training materials, solution documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with enterprise IT teams to ensure compatibility of integrated systems and applications.
  • Drive successful delivery of initiatives by managing timelines, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business partners to elicit, validate, and translate requirements into effective solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering business value and customer-focused solutions.
  • Support resolution of complex technology integration issues.
  • Partner with product management teams to align technology roadmaps with finance business strategy and value creation objectives.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance implementations, solution architecture, systems integration, or related enterprise technology roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial process integrations, global localizations, tax requirements, and SOX compliance in support of complex enterprise solutions.
  • Proven experience delivering global SAP solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and integration with SAP BW/4HANA.
  • Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and cross-functional teams in a global environment.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Deep expertise in SAP Finance (FI) with working knowledge of MM, PS, and HR modules.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
  • Experience in business analysis, functional specification development, solution design, testing, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of ABAP Objects, SAP HANA SQL, and SAP development principles.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and SAP/non-SAP system integrations.
  • Understanding of SAP security concepts and authorization controls.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, effective technical solutions.

  • Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical risks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality solutions within committed timelines.
  • Experience supporting large global finance organizations.

Additional Requirements

  • Expertise presenting solution designs, demonstrations, and recommendations to business leaders and technical architects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interaction with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Occasional business travel (10-20%).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$102,000 - $175,950
