Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Manager, Digital Systems Deployment owns deployment, adoption, and operational support of Supply Chain digital platforms across the Americas (US, Canada, LATAM). This role partners with Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, and Supply Chain to drive platform adoption, improve inventory visibility and customer experience, and translate user needs into prioritized product enhancements. The Manager will also lead training/onboarding, stakeholder reporting, and collaborate with engineering to test and deploy software/hardware updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end deployment and ongoing support of the Supply Chain digital platform for America’s markets; drive adoption targets and service-level objectives with commercial field teams
- Define, track and report metrics (e.g., tagging %, pinging %, data accuracy %, etc.) and present results to stakeholders and leadership
- Lead discovery sessions with internal and external customers to identify use cases that improve inventory optimization and platform expansion
- Collaborate with platform development team to scope, test, and deploy feature releases and hardware updates; manage release readiness and rollout communications.
- Own onboarding, training materials and end-user engagement plans; run training sessions and enablement for field teams
- Maintain and improve platform data integrity; investigate root causes of data issues and drive corrective actions across systems and processes
- Apply project, change and customer management to scale platform usage and remove adoption blockers in a matrixed environment
- Support identification and quantification of cost, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements enabled by the platform
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide backup support for the platform and data lead as required
- Participate in platform daily and weekly meetings to reflect status of accounts
- Support other digital platform initiatives as required
Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of 6-8 years experience in medical supply chain, digital platform deployment, or related operations roles
- Proven project and change management experience in a matrixed organization (PMP or Prosci experience is a plus)
- Proven track record to lead cross-functional programs and influence without direct authority.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills (comfortable with Excel and BI tools).
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder presentation experience.
- Self-starter, able to prioritize in ambiguous settings and manage multiple deployments concurrently
Preferred:
- Supply Chain experience in healthcare environment or medical device distribution
- Direct customer-facing or field support experience
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency (lookup functions, pivot tables, basic macros), familiarity with data import workflows
- Project Management experience / proficiency working with project management & flowcharting tools
Other:
- English Fluency is required
- Up to 40% domestic travel required
