Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for an IT Manager, Vision Deliver to be located in Jacksonville, FL.

The Technical Product Owner is accountable for product leadership across DCS, SAP EWM, WMS, labeling, outbound transportation, and distribution automation technologies supporting Vision distribution centers in the United States.

Provide Technical & Functional Leadership for Warehouse Management Platforms/Systems and responsible for delivery of strategic imperatives that will drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and reliability.

Logistics & Distribution Product line will lead the advancement of our capabilities through automation and digitization of products such as DC Automation, Dynamic Labelling, RFID Tagging, RF Scanners, Voice Pick, etc.

This individual will require a good mix of project management skills with business and technical acumen to drive measurable value aligned to business needs. Driving a culture of innovation with a focus on developing talent will be key to ensure team members are in tune with emerging industry and technology trends.

The Technical Product Owner will identify and deliver intelligent automation and AI-enabled use cases that produce measurable improvements in operational throughput, service performance, quality, and cost to serve. Using user-centered design and rapid prototyping, the role will deliver Minimum Viable Products with speed and agility to meet customer and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Product strategy and roadmap: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, business value, and measurable objectives for warehouse management, distribution, and DC automation capabilities; prioritize investments and coordinate product introductions and retirements.

  • Architecture and solution governance: Partner with the Product Group Engineer, BU Architect, infrastructure, security, and business teams to define architecture and technical options, ensure alignment with approved standards and business needs, test concepts with users, and approve product documentation.

  • Delivery and backlog leadership: Own and prioritize the backlog; translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria; lead squad ceremonies, release planning, cross-squad coordination, resource planning, and blocker resolution; balance business value, technical feasibility, cost, and delivery efficiency.

  • Operations, reliability, and cybersecurity: Lead service performance and issue resolution across SAP EWM, WMS, WCS, infrastructure, and integrated automation; drive continuous improvement, cyber-risk remediation, business continuity, and operational reliability with DC Operations, security, vendors, and technology partners.

  • Financial and vendor management: Manage product lifecycle economics and total cost of ownership; recommend budget and resource requirements; oversee vendor performance and support development of statements of work, purchase orders, forecasts, and cost-optimization plans.

  • Stakeholder and team leadership: Align business and technology stakeholders on priorities, dependencies, timelines, outcomes, and communications; directly manage 1–2 employees and oversee 3–5 contractors, including work planning, coaching, performance reviews, development, and recommendations related to staffing and compensation.

  • Compliance and audit readiness: Partner with Quality, DC Operations, cybersecurity, and control owners to maintain GxP and SOX compliance, product documentation, risk remediation, audit readiness, and adherence to applicable technology and business controls

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field.

  • 5–7 years of experience in supply chain technology, warehouse operations technology, or a related business or technology role.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end distribution, logistics, warehouse management processes, and associated technology platforms.

  • Techno-functional SAP experience, including at least one completed warehouse implementation.

  • Experience owning a product or platform roadmap, backlog, release plan, lifecycle, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience leading cross-functional delivery using agile, scaled agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.

  • Demonstrated people leadership, including work planning, coaching, performance management, and development of employees and contractors.

  • Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.

  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity, data, intelligent automation, compliance, and service reliability considerations in a distribution environment.

  • Ability to identify and prioritize automation or AI-enabled operational use cases based on measurable improvements in throughput, quality, service, reliability, or cost.

Preferred:

  • SAP EWM implementation; SAP S/4HANA; Exacta or another WCS; WES; and warehouse automation technologies such as systems integration platforms, conveyors, vertical lift modules, RFID, voice enablement, and goods-to-person solutions.

  • Experience in regulated healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or consumer-products distribution; GxP or SOX controls; vendor and financial management; and deployment of technology capabilities across multiple sites.

  • Experience partnering with distribution operations, process engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, Quality, and shared technology-service organizations.

  • People management experience

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$102,000.00 - $177,100.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
• Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
• Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
• Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
• Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
• Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
• Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
