We are searching for the best talent for Facilities & Utilities Co-op to be in Gurabo, PR.
- The Co-op term is from January to December, 2027.
- Full time requirement (40 hours per week).
Purpose:
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a motivated and analytical Facilities Co-op to join our Facilities and Utilities team in Gurabo. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting facility operations, utilities systems, technical projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance activities within a regulated manufacturing environment.
The selected candidate will work alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals, gaining exposure to project execution, data analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and operational excellence practices that support business continuity and site operations.
You will be responsible:
- Support the execution of technical projects under the guidance of Facilities Engineering and Facilities Management.
- Analyze utilities and operational data to identify trends, summarize findings, and support technical reports.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities and help investigate equipment, utility, or process deviations.
- Assist in root cause analysis and development of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and implement solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, and technical documentation.
- Ensure accurate documentation of work performed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, Quality, Compliance, Security, and Human Resources policies and procedures.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering-Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering Facilities Engineering Other related engineering disciplines, or related fields.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
