We are seeking an experienced and visionary Business Unit Lead, Oncology (Solid Tumor) to lead one of our most strategic portfolios in Thailand. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving sustainable business growth, advancing patient access to innovative oncology treatments, and developing high-performing teams while shaping the future of cancer care in Thailand.


Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Business Unit Lead will define and execute the strategic direction of the Solid Tumor portfolio, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to deliver outstanding patient, customer, and business outcomes.



Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define the vision, strategic priorities, and long-term growth strategy for the Oncology (Solid Tumor) Business Unit.
  • Develop and execute integrated business plans that align commercial priorities, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
  • Shape portfolio, launch, and lifecycle strategies that maximize patient access and business performance.
  • Translate market, customer, competitive, clinical, and healthcare ecosystem insights into actionable business strategies.

Commercial Excellence

  • Lead end-to-end commercial execution across Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Insights.
  • Drive launch excellence and accelerate adoption of innovative oncology therapies.
  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability in line with Business Plan and Long-Range Financial Plan objectives.
  • Optimize resource allocation, forecasting accuracy, and investment effectiveness through data-driven decision-making.

Customer and Market Leadership

  • Build deep understanding of patient journeys, treatment pathways, healthcare policies, reimbursement environments, and market dynamics.
  • Strengthen strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals, key institutions, payers, and relevant healthcare stakeholders.
  • Identify and address barriers to patient access while advancing innovative solutions that improve outcomes for cancer patients.

Organizational Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive, and diverse organization focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Coach and develop future leaders, strengthen succession pipelines, and create opportunities for talent growth.
  • Foster an environment that encourages innovation, learning agility, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead organizational transformation and change initiatives with clarity, transparency, and resilience.

Enterprise Leadership

  • Serve as a member of the Thailand Commercial Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with regional and global partners to shape strategy, share best practices, and maximize business impact.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related industry.
  • Proven success leading a Business Unit, commercial franchise, or complex healthcare portfolio.
  • Strong track record of delivering business growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
  • Significant experience in Oncology, with strong preference for expertise in Solid Tumor therapeutic areas.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product launches, lifecycle management, and commercial strategy execution.
  • Proven ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.

Technical & Functional Expertise

  • Deep understanding of oncology disease areas, treatment pathways, evolving clinical landscapes, and patient needs.
  • Strong knowledge of the Thai healthcare ecosystem, including reimbursement mechanisms, funding pathways, market access, and regulatory environments.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, forecasting, business analytics, and performance management.
  • Experience partnering across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions.
