Job Description:

Thoracic Sales Specialist, 12 months fixed term contact – J&J Medtech Surgery
Region: East of England

Accounts: Cardiothoracic Centre Basildon, Royal Papworth and Norfolk & Norwich

J&J MedTech Surgery is currently seeking an exceptional Thoracic Sales Specialist

The Thoracic Sales Specialist will be responsible for growing as well as supporting and defending sales in existing accounts across their designated territory across the J&J MedTech Surgery product portfolios.

We have an exciting and ambitious role within our team as a Thoracic Sales Specialist covering Cardiothoracic Centre Basildon, Royal Papworth and Norfolk & Norwich

The role will report into the Regional Sales Manager and will attract a commission scheme in line with the current Sales Specialist structure. The product portfolios will be in the Thoracic Specialties.

Purpose of the role:

  • Achieve agreed objectives and sales targets as outlined in the annual performance cycle.

  • Within allocated geographical region (Cardiothoracic Centre Basildon, Royal Papworth, and Norfolk & Norwich), interact and promote products to key customers and partners in secondary care.

  • Leads territory through the development of comprehensive business plans. Focus on highest value opportunities to grow and develop new business including taking competitor share and the adoption of new technologies whilst maintaining key customers and core business.

  • Lead and develop accounts and be responsible for the relationship between the Company and the customer, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to maximise impact of all activities driving growth.

Key areas of responsibility:

Account Planning

Analyse and interpret account strategies and plans utilising key systems and data, both internally and externally, where appropriate to gain a broad understanding of the business environment and insights in to account needs.

Selling

Build strong networks of relationships that enable the identification of mutually helpful opportunities to sell key technologies in the surgical procedural environment.

Present brand value propositions and value-added customer solutions to positively influence buying behaviours.

Teamwork

Work collaboratively with colleagues across Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices to deliver business plan.

Professional Education and Marketing

Leadership of customer training activities. Partner with Professional Education to develop and maintain associated KOL relationships as well as encouraging the effective use of the Company’s comprehensive Professional Education offering.
