Job Summary
This role integrates forecasting, analytics, and competitive intelligence to translate key insights into actionable recommendations that influence behavior and inform critical business decisions across the global electrophysiology business.
The Manager will own the five-year global market forecast and the development and maintenance of global, regional, and country-level market models across the full electrophysiology portfolio. The role will integrate internal and external evidence to assess market size, growth, procedures, units, revenue, share, adoption, and installed base; coown quarterly market and share reporting; and support business planning, demand planning, and new-product forecasting.
Beyond producing rigorous analytics, this position will synthesize complex findings into clear strategic narratives, lead coverage of competitor earnings calls, and communicate actionable implications to executive and EP leadership teams. Success requires strong business acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, intellectual curiosity, executive-level communication, and the ability to influence across a global matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Global forecasting leadership: Own the annual five-year global electrophysiology market forecast, including regional and country-level perspectives across the full portfolio.
• Market model development: Build, maintain, document, and continuously improve integrated forecasting models that quantify market size, growth, procedures, units, revenue, share, adoption, and installed base.
• Evidence integration: Combine internal sales, procedure, finance, and installed base data with primary research, secondary research, syndicated databases, competitive disclosures, and regional and country inputs to create a consistent fact base.
• Business and demand planning: Support annual business-planning and demand planning processes by translating market forecasts into clear assumptions, scenarios, risks, and opportunities.
• Market and share reporting: Co-own quarterly global market and market-share reporting, ensuring outputs are timely, decision-ready, and supported by clear interpretation of performance drivers.
• Competitive earnings intelligence: Own coverage of priority competitor earnings calls and disclosures; synthesize financial, portfolio, launch, and market commentary into concise insights and actionable implications.
• Strategic narrative development: Translate forecasts and analytics into compelling executive-ready narratives that connect market dynamics, competitive developments, portfolio implications, and business choices.
• Leadership engagement: Co-develop and support presentations for executive and EP leadership teams, strategic planning forums, portfolio reviews, and other senior governance meetings.
• Decision influence: Translate key insights into actionable recommendations that drive behavior change and inform critical business decisions.
• Scenario analysis: Develop fact-based scenarios for emerging technologies, shifts in treatment patterns, competitive launches, adoption curves, and other market uncertainties.
• New-product forecasting: Support forecasts for pipeline and new-product opportunities using internal data, primary and secondary research, analogs, and cross-functional assumptions.
• Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate closely with Global Strategic Marketing; regional Strategy & Insights and Marketing teams; Finance; Supply Chain and Demand Planning; HEMA; Clinical; and executive leadership.
• Process excellence: Establish standardized forecasting methods, assumptions, governance, and documentation across global, regional, and country teams.
Qualifications and Education
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred. Required Experience and Skills • A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience is required; 6 or more years is preferred.
• Relevant experience may include forecasting, market analytics, finance or FP&A, business strategy, market research, consulting, or MedTech or pharmaceutical equity research, or marketing.
• Experience in healthcare, MedTech, or the pharmaceutical industry is required.
• Demonstrated ability to create, maintain, and communicate complex market models and forecasts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze competitor earnings calls and disclosures and translate findings into strategically relevant insights and implications.
• Advanced analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with strong attention to data quality, assumptions, and detail.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, including the ability to connect analytics to business planning and leadership decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into a clear, compelling strategic narrative.
• Executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• High intellectual curiosity and a record of proactively identifying emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across global, regional, and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience and Skills
• Experience in electrophysiology, cardiac ablation, or a related cardiovascular market.
• Experience developing global, regional, or country-level forecasts across a complex product portfolio.
• Experience with market-share reporting, procedure-based forecasting, adoption modeling, installed-base analytics, and scenario planning.
• Experience with Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, or another data-visualization platform. Measures of Success

Work Location and Travel
This position is based in Irvine, California and follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of working in the office 2–3 days per week. Up to 20% travel is required, primarily to support industry conferences and related business priorities.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
