DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Trauma Hospital Operations Specialist, located in Raynham, MA; West Chester, PA.


The Trauma Hospital Operations Sales Support team has responsibility to develop and deploy strategies in collaboration with Trauma Field Sales to enable sales growth objectives by ensuring appropriate resources are available and balanced throughout the Trauma US market. The team supports Trauma Field Sales Management in achieving optimal inventory efficiency.

In support of efficient inventory management to support sales growth, this role is responsible for providing analytics and insights to Sales Leadership​. The role directly contributes to achieve sales and commercial objectives and has a high level of interaction with the Trauma Field Sales Organization at multiple levels. The role will support projects as assigned.


Responsibilities:

  • Deploy strategies in collaboration with Field Sales to enable sales growth objectives by ensuring appropriate resources are available and balanced throughout the assigned accounts and field territories.
  • Coordinate and lead inventory rebalance and return opportunities
  • Coordinate NPI launches and new set deployments to assigned accounts and appropriate FSN locations
  • Process required transactions in SAP, as appropriate
  • Use analytic skills, latest available data sources and insights to drive data-driven decision making with Sales Leadership to achieve optimal inventory levels
  • Manage support requests from the FSO
  • Support Field Sales Systems that drive efficiencies in the end-to-end Sales Process
  • Perform data mining activities and analysis for sales and inventory stakeholders
  • Support Commercial strategy implementation by guiding applicable sales teams through process change management, as appropriate
  • Other administrative tasks as required by the internal team

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year business experience in Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, or Inventory Management and/or related experience
  • Successful experience with leading and coordination of projects across multiple teams and stakeholders in business or academic environments
  • Ability to influence and develop partnerships which result in meeting departmental goals and objectives
  • Ability to make effective oral and written presentations that result in meeting the departmental goals/objectives
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong general computer skills
  • History of utilizing Excel and Microsoft office applications
  • Domestic travel up to 25%

Preferred:

  • Ability to apply Excel at an advanced level (macros, linking of files) to inventory analysis
  • Experience with using systems to support set requests, reallocation and deployment for New Product Introductions and competitive conversion activities
  • Experience with inventory management strongly preferred
  • Experience with inventory management systems and ERP platforms, particularly SAP and Movemedical.
  • Experience using Tableau, Power BI, AI tools, or similar platforms to generate insights and support decision-making
  • Experience in field sales communication and interactions
  • Experience in Medical Device industry

On October 14, 2025, Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

It is anticipated following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by Orthopaedics employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Details of any planned changes would be provided to you by Orthopaedics at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$65,000.00 - $104,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
