The Opportunity

Due to internal mobility, we now have an opportunity for a seasoned sales & marketing senior professional to join the team as Associate Marketing Director – Surgical Vision in Sydney. Reporting directly to the ANZ Country Manager, you will be a senior member of the ANZ leadership team and will have the opportunity to develop and execute strategic marketing plans to champion our brand with customers and drive market share growth.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and deploying brand and market development strategies in concert with global brand guidelines and strategic direction
  • Overseeing product management responsibilities including new product development, forecasting, product lifecycle management, and KOL activation in partnership with other business functions
  • Driving market share and brand profitability growth in partnership with other functions
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders and professional groups to support brand and market development activities

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ marketing/product management experience within medical devices and experience in Ophthalmology and/or Capital Equipment advantageous
  • Commercial acumen, proactive, with a creative and growth mindset, along with strong leadership capabilities and a proven ability to visualise and drive business growth
  • Strong understanding of the local market, a proven track record in executing strategic plans and achieving business objectives
  • A natural relationship builder with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate, influence stakeholders and challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement
