We are searching for the best talent for Automation Engineer to be in Juarez City.

Purpose:

The Automation Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for the development and introduction of automated new and upgraded equipment in accordance with the product manufacturing needs. Requirements for the automated equipment, incorporates needs for new product development, design changes or process improvements related to capacity increase, quality and process productivity improvement metrics.

Leads the planning, design, scheduling and control of Automation projects to support new product development. Contributes to key performance indicator achievements and supports company initiatives.

Establishes procedures to ensure that automated equipment operates safely, dependably, and with precision; identifies and recommends modifications.

You will be responsible for:

  • In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
  • Provides technical expertise and assistance to assigned engineers, drafters, and technicians as and for, design concepts, proof of project intent, project feasibility and project stability.
  • Establish automation, deliverables timelines and ensure adherence to expected deadlines.
  • Management of individual and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Conducts the most complex assessments to determine regulatory compliance and any necessary improvements for regulation conformity.
  • Creates documentation on all equipment and system modifications and upgrades through approved change control methods.
  • High proficiency in validation strategy and execution, delivering consistent results in equipment implementation.
  • Coaches project management team in identification of scope changes, including provision of necessary information to support claims for time and cost impact.
  • Lead capital management initiatives: Cost estimating, timing, cost-benefit, and technical fitment evaluations.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
  • Supports in the evaluation of business plan for projects portfolio prioritization.
  • Responsible for following and coaching team with all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise, the staff engineer is responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • University / bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Engineering, any specialty.
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field, preferably.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of specific business practices and software and software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and the public.
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and in to comply civil rights requirements.
  • Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in manufacturing/design engineering.
