We are searching for the best talent for a Manager, Patient Reported Outcomes, to be based in Raritan, NJ.

Purpose: The Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) team provides leadership across therapeutic areas in determining PRO strategies to substantiate, document and communicate PRO evidence to understand and measure how patients feel and function in support of product value. The PRO manager will work across functions, including market access, research and development, operations, data management and procurement to support the PRO lead in development of strategy and execution. The PRO manager provides project management, operational and process improvement support within the PRO team and cross-functionally to enhance, document and ensure efficiency for the execution of PRO research, supportive processes and deliverables.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conduct research activities to assist in informing the PRO strategy and preparation of relevant documents in support of the drug development process.
  • Provide project management for outsourced projects.
  • Support and lead processes, operational, and other activities within the PRO team.
  • Develop and refine training, guidance, templates and other materials to reflect the methods and processes for the development and implementation of PRO strategies and tactics.
  • Enhance and standardize processes for PRO evidence communication to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage PRO-team shared locations and tracking systems.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in an appropriate field (Science, Pharmacy, Psychology, Biostatistics, Sociology, Health Economics, Public Health, or Health Services Research) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry.

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
  • An understanding of research & development is required.
  • Experience in PROs is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate strong personal motivation, ability to perform independently, and have experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication and strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated through working within cross-functional teams is required.
  • Project management or process improvement experience is required.
  • This position will require up to 15% of both domestic and international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$117,000.00 - $201,250.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
