Position Summary

The Manager, Scheduling Advanced Therapies is a first-line people leader responsible for leading a team of schedulers supporting CAR-T slot scheduling across US manufacturing sites. This role is primarily focused on team leadership, operational execution, and schedule reliability, ensuring accurate slot allocation and smooth day-to-day patient material flow.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

People Leadership & Development

  • Lead and coach a team of schedulers, driving engagement, performance, and accountability

  • Provide clear direction, prioritize team workload, and ensure effective resource utilization

  • Support development of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and on-the-job learning

  • Reinforce standardized ways of working and adherence to defined processes

Scheduling Execution & Oversight

  • Oversee execution of slot scheduling within established frameworks and systems

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of manufacturing and cryopreservation slot allocation

  • Monitor short-term scheduling performance, including slot utilization and schedule adherence

  • Identify and escalate risks or imbalances in demand and capacity

Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment on daily execution

  • Support tracking and communication of batch status within the site

Issue Resolution & Escalation

  • Address routine scheduling conflicts and execution challenges

  • Escalate complex issues, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership as needed

  • Support exception management processes, including re-scheduling and adjustments

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report key operational KPIs (e.g., slot utilization, schedule adherence, turnaround time)

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the scheduling team and harmonization opportunities with the global scheduling counterparts

  • Support implementation of system or process enhancements led by senior managers

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all scheduling activities adhere to safety policies, quality standards, and cGMP requirements

  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity within scheduling systems

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, focused degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field is prefered.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP or scheduling systems

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within established cross‑functional teams and organizational structures

  • Strong communication skills at all levels and the ability to escalate critical issues

  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to challenge the status quo and identify and implement improvements to current ways of working

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience (direct or indirect), including coaching, work prioritization, and team coordination

  • Experience working in regulated environments (GMP preferred)

Other:

  • May require up to 10% domestic and international travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$102,000.00 - $177,100.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
• Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
• Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
• Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
• Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
• Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
• Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
• Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
