We are searching for the best talent for Marketing & Strategy Director - MEA.
Purpose:
Leads the Middle East & Africa marketing and strategic capabilities organization for Surgery in close partnership with Surgery EMEA Franchise as well as the Surgery commercial leaders across Middle East & Africa to drive differentiated and sustainable growth. Develops different business and operating models, aligned with EMEA regional strategies, that hold local relevance to ensure success with a focus on critical strategic priorities to grow the business.
You will be responsible for:
Strategic Marketing & Portfolio Growth
Define regional growth strategy across franchises
Drive segmentation, positioning, and pricing strategy
Own launch excellence
Align marketing with sales execution and market access
Develop KOL relationships
Education & Capability Building
Design and scale internal and HCP education strategy
Lead centers of excellence, training programs, digital learning
Partner with KOLs and institutions for adoption
Develops rebuttal evidence for commercial teams
Ensure internal education translates into utilization
Business Operations & Performance Management
Own forecasting, pipeline tracking, and KPI governance
Drive S&OP alignment (commercial + supply + demand)
Lead business reviews, dashboards, and performance cadence
Improve commercial efficiency (ROI on marketing spend, resource allocation)
Commercial Excellence & Capability Development
Build marketing capabilities (focus strategies. digital, omnichannel, analytics)
Upskill teams on value selling, evidence-based marketing
Implement tools, CRM optimization, and GTM frameworks
Drive consistency across markets (especially MEA complexity)
Business Compliance & Governance
Ensure all activities comply with MedTech regulations and policies
Oversee promotional review processes and approval systems
Manage interactions with HCPs in line with ethical standards
Reduce risk exposure while enabling speed
Other Duties
Spends time in the field with customers and teams in accordance to business and opportunity size
Keeps org on track with administrative tasks
Creates a winning culture and mindset based on growth
Creates and facilitates internal commercial competitions
Develops and implements SOP’s for commercial contracting
Adapts to and leads change within the organization
Stays abreast of country policy changes

Qualifications / Requirements:
Required Minimum Education : Degree level (MBA preferred)
Required Years of Related Experience: 10+ years of experience
