As an intern in the Robotics R&D, you will be a part of our team and support our engineers in developing the next generation of orthopedic/surgical robotics and navigation systems. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Support numerous work activities as part of the development process of new medical devices.
- Build concepts for medical devices and test setups.
- Design prototypes and coordinate manufacturing in the prototype shop.
- Coordinate and support mechanical tests
- Develop layouts and tolerance studies, participate in performing design evaluations (such as FEA, simulated use testing, dry labs and wet tissue labs etc.)
- Write technical & scientific reports
- Present your results to your colleagues.
