Position Summary
The Senior Specialist, HEOR & Pricing (IBVT Center of Excellence – LATAM) is responsible for leading regional Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) projects to support market access and value demonstration across Latin America.
This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and impactful HEOR outputs, including reimbursement dossiers, systematic literature reviews, economic models, and payer-facing materials. Additionally, the role supports pricing governance by reviewing selected business cases and ensuring adherence to internal pricing processes.
The position requires strong project leadership, indirect team management, and close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.
Your main responsabilities will be:
Lead HEOR project delivery across LATAM, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs:
Reimbursement dossiers
Systematic literature reviews (SLRs)
Economic models (CEA, BIA)
Value communications for payers and customers
Ensure scientific excellence and compliance:
Apply HTA and health economics best practices
Ensure alignment with internal and external guidelines
Maintain consistency and quality across markets
Support pricing governance:
Review and challenge selected pricing business cases
Ensure robustness of assumptions and value-based rationale
Guarantee compliance with internal pricing frameworks and processes
Coordinate project teams (indirect leadership):
Manage multidisciplinary CoE contributors (e.g., modeling, evidence, value communication)
Oversee timelines, priorities, and deliverables
Drive collaboration and knowledge sharing
Engage stakeholders:
Partner with regional, local, and global teams (Market Access, Pricing, HEOR)
Translate technical insights into actionable recommendations
Support alignment across strategy and execution
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as: Economics, Health Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines
Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, Pharmacoeconomics, Health Economics) is preferred
HTA training is a plus
5+ years of experience in HEOR, Market Access, Pricing, or related areas within healthcare/pharma
Strong knowledge of:
Health economics and HTA frameworks
Economic modeling (CEA, BIA)
Evidence generation and value communication
Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
Solid understanding of pricing strategies and business case development
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in regional/global roles
Exposure to pricing governance processes
Technical skills (e.g., modeling tools, programming)
Experience supporting HTA submissions or publications
Advanced English
Portuguese and/or Spanish (in addition to native language) is a strong plus
Availability for occasional travel (5–10%)
