This position within Strategy & Operations team, is part of the commercial organization at Janssen Biotech of Johnson & Johnson. This group is responsible for Marketing Engagement & Education, Strategy & Execution & Congress and Conventions across the portfolio. This role is focused on planning, budgeting, vendor management and internal stakeholder engagement for Brand Marketing’ Speaker Bureaus and Advisory Boards. This role will play a critical role collaborating with brand Marketing teams, Field Teams (Key Account Management, Urology Account Management, Oncology Clinical Educators, etc), and US Cross Functional teams including Brand Marketing, Sales training, Medical Affairs, Health Care Compliance, Legal, North America Pharma affiliates, Alliance Management, Communications, Corporate and Outside vendors to effectively execute key commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to and working in partnership with the Marketing Engagements & Education Lead, this individual will ensure operational excellence related to planning, budgeting, vendor management and internal stakeholder engagement for PS&E Marketing and Field Teams’ Speaker Bureaus and Advisory Boards. and make sure that the strategy and execution of speaker programs are reflective and inclusive of the Johnson and Johnson US Oncology Portfolio Approach (including budget ownership and tracking).
Responsible for close coordination and submission of the professional education plans including the Annual Needs Assessment across the PS&E marketing oncology portfolio, brand marketing, and other functions to ensure optimal customer engagement. Partner closely with the GPD and PD to shape the future educational plan of our HCPs through development of innovative engagement platforms for the growing oncology portfolio.
Accountable for the consistent planning and execution of speaker program activities (pre-, peri-, and post-speaker programs). This role is the liaison between the PS&E Marketing Team and the Speaker Program Vendor. This individual will support the PS&E Marketing Leadership Team and be responsible for communications, scheduling and coordination of meeting debriefs, collection of data for performance metric reviews.
Support the execution and management of the National Faculty at the community and academic level.
Operational Excellence: Accountable for delivery of key operational workstreams and execution of Speaker Programs in accordance with J&J standard operating procedures. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement, through implementation of new policies, procedures, technology, or other resources that can evolve our current standard operating procedures for Speakers Bureau, Advisory Boards, and life cycle management initiatives as appropriate.
Project Management: Develop and manage planning timelines and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met. Provide thorough and timely communication to internal stakeholders and external partners. Accountable for scheduling speaker training, meetings, and events logistics in conjunction with the Speaker Program Vendor(s) (communication, registration, calendar invite, and everything related to speaker programs). Effectively managing budgets, administrative tasks, tactical deployment, and external agencies to ensure optimal execution.
Cross-functional Coordination: Accountable for collaborating across the matrix and aligning on speaker program meeting priorities with: Brand Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Thought Leader Engagement, Health Care Compliance, Legal, Sales, Sales Training, Business Analytics, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, North America Pharma Affiliates, Alliance Management, Communications, Corporate and external vendors to ensure aligned strategy and execution, identify barriers and execute solutions.
Customer Experience: Responsible for identifying and implementing innovative, industry-leading practices to enable effective, consistent, and impactful customer stakeholder experiences at speaker programs. This individual will evaluate opportunities to drive innovation and operational excellence in how the US Oncology organization delivers on speaker programs and advisory boards. This individual will assess the current tools and resources used to execute key meetings, identify gaps and opportunity for improvement, and lead the evaluation of new or additional resources.
Compliance: Accountable for strict adherence to the legal and regulatory guidelines for medical education compliance.
Develop skillset in numerous marketing competencies along with leadership opportunities that help increase exposure to all areas of the business.

Qualifications
Required:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or advanced degree in a related field is helpful.
5-7 years of pharmaceutical industry, corporate agency experience, consulting, and/or change management.
Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing that includes FDA regulatory and legal environment and HCC regulations is required.
Highly detailed and organized individual; must be capable of managing multiple large-scale events and priorities simultaneously.
Must demonstrate the ability to strategically lead through influence, and work effectively in a matrix, unstructured environment with proven success solving ambiguous business challenges.
Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies: analysis, customer/market knowledge, marketing execution and pharmaceutical environment.
Must be able to fully assess needs of the brands across the portfolio in collaboration with brand leadership.
Must identify and proactively outline best in class professional education programs across the oncology portfolio.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Experience leading continuous process improvement initiatives and best practices sharing.
Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel.
Ability to travel up to 25% which may include overnights and weekend travel domestically with limited international travel.
In person, office collaboration 3 days / week.
Preferred:
Work related experience in Oncology.
Experience working with PS&E marketing or field teams (Key Account Manager, Urology Account Manager, Oncology Clinical Educator, etc.).
Knowledge of the following internal systems: Totality, ARIBA, IMPROVE, iMedical and CentrisDirect.
This position is based in Horsham, PA and will be required up to 20% travel US with limited OUS travel.
