Job Description:

The Senior Team Lead, Invoice to Cash (Cash Applications) is responsible for managing and overseeing the cash applications, CN-DN and reporting process for specific business MRCs and markets in NALA serviced by JNJ Global service Finance Manila. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Invoice to Cash.

The Senior Team Lead, Invoice to Cash (Cash Applications) is responsible for the Cash applications, CN-DN and reporting process for specific business sectors and countries serviced by GS Manila.

  • Analyzes and reviews cash applications data to ensure resulting applications are accurate and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and approves AR period end reports
  • Handles inquiries, resolves discrepancies and errors relating to Cash Applications and AR Reporting which go beyond team members' capabilities
  • Oversees the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process and coordinates with respective parties as required
  • Ensure that service levels and targets are met and service is delivered to customers in accordance to defined Service Level Agreements
  • Supervises, trains and mentors cash applications specialists in accurate and timely payment identification and posting.
  • Develops and manages work schedules, back up procedures and staffing requirements to ensure full coverage
  • As the subject matter expert, work with internal and external teams to achieve goals and objectives, direct activities, offer guidance and share expertise.
  • Support internal or external audits as needed.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager

Qualifications

  • Required Minimum Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Required Years of Related Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in cash applications
  • Required Years of People Management Experience: 3+ years
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. Foreign language capability (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Thai) is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable
