Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, MDM Lead, located in Bogotá Distrito Capital, Distrito Capital de Bogotá.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The Manager, MDM Lead is responsible for leading master data operations to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient data processes that support critical business functions. This role has a direct impact on supply chain effectiveness, operational performance, and data-driven decision-making. You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement, and partner with global stakeholders to enable consistent and reliable master data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead customer and vendor master data operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery
• Manage team performance, workflows, and operational metrics to achieve service level and business objectives
• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans aligned with Master Data Operations goals
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing guidance and resolving data-related issues
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation to enhance efficiency and data quality
• Lead regional or global initiatives including process harmonization, metrics tracking, and operational reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure data readiness
• Leverage analytics and business intelligence tools to support decision-making and performance management
• Communicate complex data concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field required
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required: • 8–10 years of relevant business experience, including at least 2 years in a people leadership role
• Hands-on experience in master data management within large ERP environments
• Strong understanding of supply chain data, processes, and operating models
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and build collaborative relationships

Preferred: • Experience in a shared services or global business services environment within a multinational organization
• Familiarity with digital technologies, automation, and data analytics tools
• Experience leading global or regional transformation or process improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards
• Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement certification
• Experience managing cross-functional or matrix teams
• Strong change management experience

Other:

• Language: English required; Spanish preferred
• Travel: Up to 10–15% (may include international travel)
• Certifications: Lean Six Sigma or data governance certifications preferred
