Our Medtech business segment produces a broad range of innovative Medical Devices and solutions used primarily by health care professionals in the fields of surgery products, orthopedics, neurological disease, infection prevention, cardiovascular disease, and aesthetics.
Leading the Cluster Pricing & Revenue CoE, the Pricing & Revenue Management Manager will have focus on the management of both Tactical and Strategic Revenue establishing standards of analysis and controls for planning and implementing revenue management and price increase execution connecting with different profitability variables (price, mix and volume management) while maintaining elevated compliance standards and responding to the different audit requests to keep an agile and digitized process in place.
Deeply understanding of the revenue dynamics within different business channels and works collaboratively with the Commercial Leadership team and sales organization to adapt and implement the regional revenue management strategy ensuring business objectives are accomplished at local level with profitability maximization.
Drive the evolution to a revenue management role including the communication and vision of how price is related to other key variables like gross to net, Mix and cost management to propel the improvement of the profitability performance while proposing and delivering commercial revenue contracting solutions to the business customers.
Key Responsibilities:
· The development and engagement of the team under his/her responsibility and establish common goals and objectives linked to the regional priorities.
· Be the driver of the pricing process from an end-to-end perspective, fully engaging and providing benchmark, guidance, and specific recommendations to all stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Marketing, and Finance) tapping into connections across Franchises.
· Revenue business partner, providing profitability, mix, commercial models and price-performance analytics and insights to the Sales teams.
· Leading indicator analytics regarding discount trends, price volume, rebates and gross profit etc.
· Lead total pricing and sales deal management workflows, improving processes to make the most efficiencies and ensuring timely response to market conditions and commercial requests. Take workloads and transactional activities to the minimum possible
· Lead all aspects of pricing & revenue management analysts/ specialists to support activities with an expansive environment of new revenue generation and discrepancy resolution etc.
· Partner with Commercial Strategy, Squads and Sales team to identify short term opportunities
· Liaison with regional and corporate colleagues to proactively benchmark good pricing practices and apply them to local markets to facilitate/provide product Pricing training. This includes understanding and deploying innovative revenue and contractive models. Work as a regional squad in different activities with crossed functions using agile ways of working with product vision avoiding silos
· Provide insights that will strengthen the development and implementation of company-wide pricing & revenue strategies and policies to drive revenue and profitability optimization; this includes establishing internal and external benchmarks, application of business knowledge, and through analytics the identification of emerging trends and areas of opportunity and risk.
· Escalate high complex and conflicting subjects, ensuring equitability and compliant decisions.
Qualifications
· Detailed understanding of revenue concepts with a diverse scope of possibilities (including data modeling, profitability architecture of a company, breakeven analysis)
· Performance orientated, ability to adapt to change and a solution focused approach
· Proven experience in contract management and commercial terms optimization
· Practical experience of commercial negotiation with key customers
· Good understanding of statistical and financial analyses.
· +5 years’ experience in data, revenue management or finance leadership roles
· High data skills acumen being able to lead a team in charge of connecting different revenue variables with high analytical standards and advanced data tools
· Proactive leader with servant leadership behaviours and collaborative ways of working with the ability to lead by influence multiple company needs
· People Leader and able to see full picture and able to connect with different stakeholders needs
