Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.
This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility.
Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Transcend Manager POM/MAKE Manager to drive the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA global process template within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This fully onsite role will be located in Titusville, NJ with alternate locations to be considered in Brussels, Belgium; Schaffhausen, Switzerland; or Zug, Switzerland.

This role is responsible for deploying the standardized value stream solution globally, ensuring strict alignment to SAP Clean Core principles while crafting only legally required localizations. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional process expertise on a supply chain function (Make and Process Order Management), a proven understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the life sciences sector, and a collaborative leadership approach to successfully guide cross-functional teams through the ERP transformation journey
The position will directly lead a functional team of process authorities. Additionally, they will have matrix leadership over contractors, and support personnel such as CEBA and PMO team members.
The Process Manager will be a key face to the site personnel for the specific deployment and will need to be able to shape and influence in the face of resistance to change.
Key Responsibilities
Global Template Deployment
- Lead the deployment of a global functional process template across regions and business units, aligning business needs, regulatory requirements, and SAP leading practices to drive consistent and effective operations.
- Drive adoption of the SAP S/4HANA functional template by leveraging standard capabilities and scalable solutions that support business performance, compliance, and long-term maintainability.
- Advance SAP Clean Core principles by promoting configuration-based approaches, standard functionality, and approved extensibility solutions to enhance system sustainability, scalability, and continuous innovation.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead diverse, cross-functional teams including business subject matter experts, IT partners, SAP specialists, validation professionals, and system integrators to deliver Value Stream initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Value Stream leaders across Procure-to-Pay, Finance, Manufacturing, and related functions to design and implement integrated end-to-end processes that enhance operational performance and support enterprise objectives.
- Build strong partnerships across business, program, and technical teams to align priorities, scope, timelines, risks, and change readiness, enabling successful program delivery and sustainable adoption..
Solution Delivery & Validation
- Lead solution design, configuration reviews, data migration validation, testing strategy development, and end-to-end business process walkthroughs to support successful, compliant Value Stream implementation and adoption.
- Lead Value Stream testing and validation activities, including Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and compliance-related validation, ensuring alignment with SDLC standards and successful business adoption.
- Support the creation and approval of Value Stream-related validation work in accordance with QA and regulatory requirements
Change Mgmt & Training
- Partner with Change Management and cross-functional collaborators to build user readiness, support adoption, and enable successful implementation of the global Value Stream template.
- Develop and deliver engaging training materials, user guides, and process documentation that help regulated users and business collaborators confidently adopt new processes and ways of working.
Qualifications
Education:
- University level degree in quality, business/IT technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- A minimum of six years of proven experience.
- Proven experience supporting end-to-end Value Stream processes in a regulated GxP environment, including commercial distribution, serialization, credit management, and revenue recognition.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable SAP solutions using Clean Core principles, with the ability to balance business needs, standard functionality, and long-term system sustainability through configuration and approved extensibility approaches.
- Proven ability to lead through influence, facilitate collaboration, and build strong partnerships across business, technology, compliance, and global teams to achieve shared objectives and drive successful outcomes.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of validation and compliance practices within regulated environments, with experience supporting successful technology implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience contributing to cross-functional projects within the pharmaceutical or broader life sciences industry, helping teams improve processes, enhance compliance, and deliver business value.
- Solid understanding of SAP technologies and digital business solutions, with experience supporting process standardization, user enablement, and enterprise transformation programs.
