We are searching for the best talent for Senior Quality Engineering Technician (Temporary 12 months)

Purpose:

Responsible for assisting Quality Engineering in sustaining activities and driving improvements.

You will be responsible for:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Provides training to associates and peers in manufacturing processes, systems applications, measurement equipment, product complaints, and other quality-related topics as needed.

  • Performs verification of activities completed under non-conformance reports.

  • Assists or executes investigations related to non-conformances, audit findings, CAPAs, and other quality issues.

  • Applies Quality Engineering tools such as measurement system analysis and basic statistical analysis.

  • Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports for quality metrics, initiatives, and plant scorecards.

  • Provides and maintains the availability of departmental supplies.

  • Follows J&J Records Management Policies, including records retention, training documentation, document hold notices, and records cleanout requirements.

  • Maintains quality records and provides information through company quality systems.

  • May serve as administrator of local quality information systems.

  • Participates in the development of new quality system applications and processes.

  • Ensures compliance with GMPs, regulations, international standards, environmental requirements, and health policies.

  • Provides support to Quality Engineers and manufacturing operations through line support activities.

  • Acts as a liaison between Quality and Manufacturing for quality-related issues.

  • Supports the effectiveness and implementation of control plans across manufacturing lines.

  • Follows all company safety policies and required safety precautions within the work area.

  • Maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures.

  • Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements.

  • Communicates business-related issues or opportunities to the appropriate management level.

  • Follows all company Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and practices.

  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Performs additional duties and assignments as required to support departmental and business objectives.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Engineering studies in progress, with at least 50% of the degree completed, or close to graduation.

  • Previous experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering-related roles.

  • Ability to hold work-related conversations in English (approximately 75% proficiency).

  • Between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience, depending on the combination of work experience and academic progress.

  • English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred.

  • Knowledge of QSR and ISO quality systems.

  • ASQ certifications (CQIA, Quality Auditor) are preferred.

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Green Belt.

  • Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Experience using data analysis tools, spreadsheets, presentations, and database applications.
