Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Associate Area Manager.

Purpose:

The Associate Area Manager is responsible for driving the adoption, utilisation, and clinical excellence of advanced cardiovascular therapies across Malaysia. This role partners closely with healthcare professionals and hospital stakeholders to improve patient outcomes through clinical education, therapy development, customer engagement, and commercial execution.

The position plays a critical role in expanding therapy adoption, supporting complex clinical cases, and establishing sustainable Heart Recovery programmes that deliver value to both patients and healthcare systems.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical case support during implant procedures, on-call support, and post-implant patient management to ensure optimal therapy outcomes
  • Driving therapy adoption and utilisation through clinical education, algorithm implementation, best practice sharing, and structured customer training programmes
  • Building strong partnerships with Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivists, Heart Failure Specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams to advance Heart Recovery programmes
  • Identifying and addressing barriers to therapy adoption by developing compelling clinical and health economic value propositions for key stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with healthcare professionals to increase awareness, patient identification, and appropriate utilisation of cardiovascular therapies
  • Planning and executing clinical education initiatives, workshops, symposiums, training programmes, and customer engagement activities that support physician education and therapy growth
  • Identifying, developing, and launching new customer sites through structured implementation programmes, training plans, and adoption best practices
  • Achieving commercial and patient outcome objectives by increasing utilisation within existing accounts and expanding access through new account development

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, or a related clinical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within a hospital environment, preferably in ICU, Cath Lab, Operating Theatre, Perfusion, or critical care settings
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting cardiovascular or interventional cardiology medical devices in clinical, educational, or commercial roles
  • Strong understanding of haemodynamic support therapies, cardiovascular procedures, and patient management within acute care environments
  • Proven ability to engage multiple stakeholders and influence therapy adoption through clinical evidence, education, and customer partnership
  • Established relationships with Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivists, Heart Failure Specialists, or related healthcare professionals are highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin language capability is an advantage
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented professional with strong organisational skills, willingness to travel extensively, and availability to provide on-call clinical support when required
